That Professor Veith would be ignorant of what Mrs White's tombstone was considering the stupid accusations over the years regarding it, is akin to stabbing in the dark hoping to find a target.
It is true that her tombstone is an Obelisk, but The Association of Gravestone Studies says that the Obelisk formed NO PART with Freemasonry in regards to Tombstones. Moreover, Masons directly tell us that members’ tombstones usually contain emblems of Freemasonry, which incidentally are missing from her tombstone! Obelisks were simply a relic of the Victorian Age. Such tombstones were popular, stylish and cheap. It would be absurd to assume that every grave that has an Obelisk contained a deceased member of Freemasonry!
