Mataios in Greek means - idol, vanity

Chata in Hebrew means - repent, tresspas, offer for sin.

Yadah in Hebrew means - worship


Exodus chapter 20:4. You shall not make for yourself an idol,.

1 John 5:21. Little children, keep yourself from idols.

Those who pray reguard to Vain idols. Forsake thier hope of steadfast love. But I with voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you, what I have vowed I will pay, Salvation belongs to the Lord !

Today, idols can be your car, money or business or friendship. Any thing that comes between God and individuals.

We have to work or have money to pay things. Don't allow it to become idol. That person has no time to for God.

Sound doctrine is the way.

Bad fruit is traditions of men
Good fruit is sound doctrine

Those involved in idols are on the wrong path.

The spiritually dead end up in sheol. It's holding place for the spiritually dead until judgment Day.

Putting faith into a woman or a man, behind a pulpit is an idol? Or can become an id. If it’s on him or her and not the God of the universe… isn’t that faithlessness to Yahavah? Idolatry, Adultery?

Priest's are messengers of God.

God won't tolerate anyone disrespect to man or woman of God.

Teachers nourish and train the congregation. So in return, they're shepherds, and plant seeds for God.

Those in authority deserve respect.

But we worship only God.
