Why are you hijacking this thread. It has NOTHING to do with OSAS.
If you want to argue that fairy tale - then start a thread . . .

I dunno, because time is short and those who depend on their works need to be saved and not adhere to the "fairytale".

Does scripture not differentiate between sheep and wolves, believers vs nonbelievers? Is it not belief in the death, burial, resurrection that separates us?

Matt 7:15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Jhn 10:25-30 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.”

Act 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.

God bless

Uh huh - and there are already many threads on the subject.

Why
don't you challenge me on one of THOSE threads instead of hijacking this one - and I'll be more than happy to destroy our man-made OSAS position as I did the others . . .

[[[[[[[[[[[[[ I said that you LIED - I didn't CALL you a liar.]]]]]]]]]]

So what is the difference ??????

And I did not lie ...... that was my church and the nuns, hated boy's to top it off.....
they pulled there ears a lot ...... and one other thing , oh the ruler.
Like I said - sounds like YOU belonged to a dissident group - but NOT the Catholic Church.

Your parent's indifference toward Scripture is THEIR problem - not the Church's - and not YOUR renegade sect's fault.

Hey Breadman, you causing trouble again?
You know I'm OSAS.
I'm going to heaven when I die.
I think I saw your name on the limbo waiting list.

Me too, and we OSAS's have to stick together LOL

No BOL is not causing trouble...he was just saying to "Heb 13" that there is already a thread dedicated to that subject...and this thread is not it!!

So, he is being a good boy. :)

Makes no difference to you because according to you there's no hell.
(I just had to throw that i for good fun. Haha)

:D I can take it...from friends , anyway...
And agree...but I did not say there is no hell...but there is no hell as is preached by them who parrot some other guys old doctrine.

I believe in The Fire for sure...but that is derailing this thread even worse!!
BOL will then be getting on my case too .... LOL

Don't you just love it when someone tells you what you believe.
Makes me think they're the ones that don't know what they believe.
They just spew things out of their mouths and hope someone agrees with them.

Paul was speaking to the ELDERS of the Church at Ephesus - and it STILL has nothing to do with OSAS.

Take another look. When he mentions the Holy Spirit and His blood is he referring to sheep or the wolves?

Act 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.

Bol has a lot more knowledge about scripture than a whole bunch of people on this forum.
Like it or not.
It's true.

I guess that's the difference between teh religious and true believers. They all have knowledge but no love

Jhn 5:36-40 “I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish—the very works that I am doing—testify that the Father has sent me. 37And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, 38nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. 39You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

1 Cor 8:1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that "We all possess knowledge." But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.

God bless

Of course there will come a time of unity Maybe in the New Earth when Christ reigns but, not before that, IMO. I did specify THIS earth.

Really??
Who "changed" the Commandments??
Didn't Catholicism remove the 2nd Commandment from the Ten Commandments and then split the last one into two different commandments? It's that way the catechisms.

Could be.
But loving people right into hell is not love.

Oh, wait, there's no hell....

Oh right....there you go, misquoting me ...that happens a lot...

Ha! But, shall I use that as my signature line.. ?? :D

Instead of posting Youtube videos - why don't you refute what I taught you in my last post - in your OWN words?? Why don't you show me how wrong I am by using historical documentation to show me what I said was erroneous.

The answer is that you CAN'T. What I taught you about history in my last post is 100% historical truth - with no Catholic or anti-Catholic bias. Just the plain truth.

You LOSE this argument because you refuse to do your homework and have instead chosen to remain ignorant . . .
BOL, please make no mistake, I can refute anything and everything you post if I choose, just like I refuted your claim that the title "Roman Catholic Church" is not recognized by the Catholic church as an acceptable reference to it in your very public criticism for Protestants here who do use it...by posting an encyclical where the pope at that time plainly uses the term, "Roman Catholic church". You see, it's always better to allow the Papacy's own words to substantiate Protestantism's indictments of it.

A few examples of the RCC's withholding of Scripture:

The Council of Toulouse, which met in November of 1229, about the time of the crusade against the Albigensians, set up a special ecclesiastical tribunal, or court, known as the Inquisition (Lat. inquisitio, an inquiry), to search out and try heretics. Twenty of the forty-five articles decreed by the Council dealt with heretics and heresy.

It ruled in part: Canon 14. We prohibit also that the laity should be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament; unless anyone from motive of devotion should wish to have the Psalter or the Breviary for divine offices or the hours of the blessed Virgin; but we most strictly forbid their having any translation of these books.
------------------------------
Pope Innocent III stated in 1199: ... to be reproved are those who translate into French the Gospels, the letters of Paul, the psalter, etc. They are moved by a certain love of Scripture in order to explain them clandestinely and to preach them to one another. The mysteries of the faithare not to explained rashly to anyone. Usually in fact, they cannot be understood by everyone but only by those who are qualified to understand them with informed intelligence. The depth of the divine Scriptures is such that not only the illiterate and uninitiated have difficulty understanding them, but also the educated and the gifted (Denzinger-Schönmetzer, Enchiridion Symbolorum 770-771)
-------------------------------
I could list example after example.
