can you say me it proof??

How does one reconcile wearing a cross or any item of worship or that is held in reverence after considering only these few scriptures?-2 Kings 19:18; 2 Chronicles 32:19; Isaiah 37:19; Acts 19:24-25. Ask yourself this question: If a loved one was murdered by a club, pistol, knife and so forth, would you wear or display a reproduction of such instruments of death and view it as sacred?

You're missing the point.

If a loved one was murdered - no matter HOW much I loved them - their death cannot save my soul. Christ's death, on the other hand was the PERFECT sacrifice for the expiation of our sins.
That's why the day of His death is referred to as "GOOD Friday".

1 Cor. 1:21-25
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, BUT WE PREACH CHRIST CRUCIFIED, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

We don't take delight in His death - but we REJOICE in His Death and Resurrection - for without it, we would be hoplessly LOST . . .

Any religious item or image-such as a likeness of Christ-is still considered an idol. The "Old Testament" has several related scriptures regarding this subject.

Is it idol worship to show respect or reverence to a cross?

That's NOT what the Bible says.
The Bible says that we are not to make graven images for the pourposed of WORSHIPPING them.

If the creation of them was considered idolatry - then EVERYBODY, including GOD would be guilty.
- God commanded Moses to make 2 Golden Cherubim to place atop the Ark.
- God also commanded Moses to create a Bronze Serpent and place it on a pole to heal the Israelites.

YOU probably have a picture of yourself in your wallet on the driver's licence - and pictures of loved ones on your mantle at home.
Are YOU an "Idolator"??

Thank you for your comment. I was not expecting such a passionate reply. The scriptures give no description of Jesus' physical appearance; consequently, how does one determine his likeness? Consider what a few verses say about image worship or what we admire with acts of reverence (praying to, kissing and so forth).-Exodus 20:23; Deuteronomy 4:16; Psalms 115:4-8; 135:15-18; Isaiah 40:18-20; 46:5; John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Welcome to the forum.
The entire point here is that the commandment against graven images is a prohibition on the worship of false gods.

As I stated before - God commanded Moses to make 2 Golden Cherubim to place atop the Ark and to create a Bronze Serpent and place it on a pole to heal the Israelites. If the prohibition had been against the mere creation of graven images - then God would be a hypocrite.
Lets not forget that Solomon's Temple also contained graven images of Cherubim (1 Kings 6:27).

I also reminded you that we ALL have images of created beings in our homes and in our wallets because we understand what the prohibition does NOT forbid this.
The ONLY time this becomes an "issue" is when a person is arguing against the Catholic Church's use of images.

As for the verses you presented - they ALL speak of IDOLS and the worship of them (Exod. 20:23; Deut. 4:16; Psalms 115:4-8; 135:15-18; Isa. 40:18-20; 46:5; John 4:24; 2 Cor. 5:7).
An "Idol", by definition is NOT a statue. An "Idol" is a statue or image that is worshipped as a god.
