Amen! I will pray that the right job opens up as the Lord wills. Father, I pray that you will open a door for @Misfit to find employment. One that enables him to work and be paid from a ministry would be ideal, but any job will be a blessing for him at this time. Thank you, Father, in Jesus mighty name.
And where two or more are there he is with them may Jesus agree with us in spirit thank you Jesus for listening the ball is in your court now

Try to do some networking, too. Let people you know at church or elsewhere to let you know if they know of any job openings.

Ok, maybe you can just tell people you know or the pastor that you are looking for work. Praying you find something.

Very simple. Walk in and ask for an application. Fill it out. Hand it to them.
Start somewhere simple, if it's your first job. Cashier, fast food.
Your job isn't to know how to do the job. Someone else gets paid to teach you. That's on them. All you need to do is show up and follow their lead.

Something God taught me a long time ago was to not to be afraid to start where you are.
What I meant was I wish God would show me how to work for Him. Like what my ministry is.

I hate to quote a secular movie I haven't watched in 15 years... and probably wouldn't approve of now, but it applies.
I try to keep this in mind when working a normal, mundane, non-ministry job.

Before God uses you to do something, he might possibly want to train you up first before he reveals you.
There are almost always volunteer opportunities, too.
The default ministry of every Christian is to reflect Christ, serve God and others. If you can manage that in your character and in the quality of your work, you can do a lot more.

Volunteering can be a stepping stone, even if you don't know exactly what to do.
What is your passion? What motivates you? What makes you feel the most useful to the kingdom? Maybe your answer is there.
Why my friend your doing it now, it may seem like just a small thing posting online but words have power so every post you make is planting a seed for the kingdom even when you don't realizae it. just trusting him and believing he can do all things is working for him

Volunteer to do something that needs to be done. "Make your hands available to God when He needs them." It isn't glamorous, but somebody's gotta do it.
