I don't think I'm a Christian

Aside from that I have no other firm beliefs.
I'm actually back to when I encountered Satan and God and I'm comfortable about it

It seems to me that one would know if they are a Christian or not... If you do not believe that Jesus is God... and that He paid for your sins with the shedding of His Blood...then you cannot claim yourself to be a Christian.

What brought you to this state? I too have experienced bitterness, as you implied having in the past due to the godlessness that is revealing itself these days. But that doesn't change my beliefs, these things must come to pass.

I too struggle with calling myself a Christian... but it is because I am embarrassed with what I see... and I am disgusted a lot with what I read with reference to Christianity.

These are most difficult times... I think many people are struggling. We need to be praying for one another instead of condemning one another...

If I had to take a guess, you are a very intellectual person, wanting and needing everything to have a rational and explainable basis. Unfortunately when it comes to the thing of God that just not possible. The answers and reasons can not be found in your head. You have to reach beyond in faith to that which is greater than us, and our ability to understand.
God is so much bigger than us and he just will not fit in a box that will fit in our comprehension. You have to let go of your need to know the answers for everything, and know that He is the answer for everything

But if the only ones identifying themselves as Christians are the problem children, how shall they ever see the truth?

I do identify myself as a Christian.... and I love CHRIST with all my heart.. I'm just not too fond of many of His kids... LOL

I would say that I'm of the intangible congregation, a member of the body of Christ, if that's what I was.
Except, I believe that I am of Hebrew descent. This matters to me because there is, besides the ekklesia, the chosen elect In Yeshua.
I believe, according to Revelation 7, there are to be 144,000 chosen from the 12 tribes of Israel, from which I am descended.
This number is called, "The bride of Christ."
Replacement theology is wrong and needs to be repented of.
21 years ago, Yeshua appeared to me and said, " I love My bride." He allowed me to feel His heart. The grief I felt was unbearable.
My main job is to wake up some of the so-called, "lost ten tribes" of the northern kingdom of the house of Israel, usually referred to as "Ephraim."
Most of our Lord's bride is to be found here. At some point, I expect people to start taking what I am saying seriously.
On another note, it appears that Iran just attacked an Israeli nuclear power plant.
I'd say, "You'd better know you're a Christian." Shalom.

This could either be a good position to be in or a bad position to be in, depending on what you do with it. If it is a time for setting aside old, outdated beliefs you once subscribed to, that can be a truly good thing. I have had to do this many times before, although not in some massive, lock, stock and barrel sense.

Tell me. A Christian believes the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was crucified and died for the sins of mankind, and rose again from the grave on the third day and ascended to be seated on the Right hand of God in Heaven after being seen of many witnesses.

What parts of that do you still or not still believe? You can send it to me in a private conversation if you like.

What brought you to this state?

Many things. I only just came back to God 2 or 3 years ago. That's when i felt closest to Him.
Then i found that Christianity wasn't exactly what i thought it was and scripture is not so easy to interpret.
44,000 denominations. All bickering and claiming to have the one and only gospel. Plus all the individuals with other interpretations...
And thats not to mention all the other religions that claim the same.

Who am i to correctly discern the truth, with this feeble human mind, im bound to make an error.
So i keep it simple. Too many unanswered questions. The deeper i get into doctrine the mot twisted and complicated it becomes

Did God only appear to the Jews? What about the countless other cultures in the world? Damned?
Christ is the son of God but aren't we all? How can a man be God. How can the father be the son?
And how does dying on the cross save us... So much of it makes no sense to me.

Are we save by this or that... I don't know... Its such a paradoxical debate it just makes my head spin
Everyone claiming to know the truth but i don't anyone really knows the whole truth or even a fraction of it.

Only things that do make sense to me is God, Satan and our soul.

I have been looking for/seeking this thing called Christian unity... and I have finally decided/understood that it doesn't exist...
There are pockets of it here and there... but you have to be with like-minded believers to have this deep connection.

The forums are like a smorgasbord... so this is NOT the best venue to seek fellowship with like-minded believers... There are too
many different beliefs going on.

Be of good courage my dear brother.... continue to seek the face of GOD... HE is faithful to answer the call of a thirsty heart.

What exactly happened?

In short, i realized that Satan had been deceiving me and leading me to destruction and so i went in search for God and found Him.
He pulled me out of the mud, out of the darkness. Satan became furious, he attacked me like never before with all kinds of tactics
Only God was able to fend off his attacks and get me through prison... That's when i felt closest to God

Look... Two years ago i knew only the very basics as i grew up in a catholic family...
I thought there was only a hand full regional of denominations, and that they all agreed on doctrine and where one big happy family...

What i found shocked me. I had encountered the evil one in my life, i had encountered him in society but i also encounter him in Christianity with all these divisions and disputes... Who is right. I dunno. Its a head spin

This is why I am a RECLUSE.... I do not trust any human... I believe God is ok with this... I need SIMPLICITY... I need PEACE...and I am just beginning to experience JOY... I don't get along with many who claim to be Christian... I find them to be nothing more than harsh judges and condemners.

Keep it simple... stay away from opinions... keep waving to the children... and ENJOY the birds... God will reveal HIMSELF to you...

Try not to pin the name christian on yourself. Christ called those who followed him his disciples. The name christian didn’t come until after he left this world. Many who call theirselves Christians will stand before the Lord and will be condemned. In each case he tells them I know you not. If in your heart God has placed his trust in and you have his love in your heart - you are his.
