The Israeli Defence Force versus the Arab/Islamic militants has become a global concern, as territorial occupations and the death toll mount up in the Middle East region. It is quite apparent that Israel has the upper hand. They are able to destroy enemy assets and pick off their leaders.

This state of affairs is extremely hard for Muslim people to take - they cannot accept it and full strength retaliation is inevitable. They prefer to die rather than be humiliated. The Islamic forces have a long history of conquest and the subjugation of infidels. They are desperate to regain their credibility and honour. That there is coming a determined attempt to destroy the Jewish State of Israel, “the ‘cancer’ in their midst” is quite evident and inevitable.

But we Christians have the Book, the Holy Bible, which informs us of what is really going to happen… the ‘spoiler’ – history before it happens, in the great story of human civilization.

A very interesting Bible Prophecy which mentions Elam/Iran is Isaiah 21:2b, where the Lord actually encourages them to attack. Also see Isaiah 22:6 Elam takes up the quiver…..that is, an arrow holder. Todays ‘arrows’ are missiles.
In Jeremiah 49:35-37, we are told that: Elam will take up the chief weapon of their might, but the Lord will break it and scatter them with His storm winds.

“The message clearly heard from Tehran these days is that it’s not going to patient any more because its patience has limits,” he said.

Elijah Magnier, a military analyst, agreed. He told Al Jazeera that Iran has two choices: either “wait until all of its allies are defeated and then its turn will come to be attacked by Israel”, or “join the battle now”.

“Iran will not tolerate any Israeli attack, even against military facilities or security facilities because Iran … considers they are now even … Israel hit twice, Iran hit twice,” he said.

Iran has told the United States via an intermediary that any Israeli attack against Iran would meet an “unconventional response” that includes targeting Israeli infrastructure.

In exclusive remarks to Al Jazeera, an Iranian official said on Thursday that his country has sent a message to the US, via Qatar, addressing rising regional tensions after Iran’s missile attack on Israel.

In the message, Tehran told Washington that “the phase of unilateral self-restraint has ended”, adding that “individual self-restraint does not secure our national security requirements”.

The indirect message also emphasised that Iran does not want a regional war, the official said.

The intelligence infiltration and assassination of Hezbollah leaders, notably Nasrallah, was a shocking blow to Iran. It placed the regime in an unprecedentedly vulnerable position, both internally and externally. For the first time, Iran was unable to fall back on its usual "strategic patience" due to the magnitude of the event, which severely damaged its national pride. In response, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel – a move seen as necessary to maintain the regime's image amid growing foreign and domestic contempt.

This missile strike temporarily breathed life back into the regime. Now, Iran is desperately trying to avoid an Israeli retaliation, which could involve strikes on its nuclear facilities or the assassination of key figures like Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei or Revolutionary Guards commanders. Any such retaliation would force Iran into a direct military conflict, something it seeks to avoid at all costs.

Israel has now exposed the Iranian regime's proxy strategy, pushing Tehran to either engage directly in military conflict or face undesirable outcomes. This situation presents the Iranian regime with two unfavorable scenarios.

The first scenario is to confront Israel directly, trying to minimize the consequences and avoid heavy losses. The outcome will depend on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's decision – whether to strike a decisive blow to the regime or merely weaken and disarm it.

The second scenario is to pursue diplomatic channels with the US, hoping to convince Israel not to retaliate for Iran's recent attack in exchange for Iranian promises to restrain its proxies, disarm them, and scale back its proxy warfare strategy. This could be part of a broader agreement that includes the Iranian nuclear program. However, this option is unlikely, as the Biden administration and Israel, given Israel's current strategic advantage, would probably reject such a deal.

There is strong momentum to seize the opportunity to neutralize the Iranian threat without conceding to Iran's nuclear ambitions, which remain a core issue in the conflict with both the US and Israel.

Under the cover of darkness early Saturday, Israel attacked multiple sites in different parts of Iran. Explosions were heard in the capital, Tehran, which sits deep inside the country.

The Israeli military said its “precise and targeted strikes” hit missile air defence systems and “aerial capabilities” as well as missile manufacturing facilities used to produce weapons that have been used against Israel.

Iran insisted the strikes caused only “limited damage.”

General Quaani, the Commander of the Iranian Quds Force; has done nothing to prevent Iran’s interests from crumbling,” one of the IRGC officials said. “Allies fell one after another, and he was watching from Tehran. Even worse days might yet be coming.”

The sources told the Telegraph that there were rumors that Kahmeini would replace Qaani because of internal pressure.

“The situation is bizarre and heated and angry discussions are taking place – the other concern is what to tell supporters in Iran,” the first source told the Telegraph.

The first official noted that Iran is at its weakest and that “The resistance project almost no longer exists.”

“You don’t need to be an expert to see that we are in our weakest and most vulnerable position in decade, and many acknowledge that here,” the official told the Telegraph.

The fall of Iran supported Syria, has dramatically changed the situation in the Middle East.

Iran has been humiliated and is now desperate. Their Islamic Mullah leadership, as under intense pressure from dissidents and it is clear to them as well as the rest of the world; their days are numbered.

What will they do? What can they do?

They can try to destroy Israel, their avowed aim and object.

But as Psalms 7:12-16 and many other Prophesies tell us, that will be their downfall.

Bring it on Lord! Show us Your power, as You did in ancient times!
