My day is going pretty good. I've been making progress on my math puzzles.

Went for some walks and drank some coffee ate some food. Watched some internet movies.

Let me introduce the board to 'Henry', he's one of the mice that regularly visits my flat for crumbs I leave out for them and it makes my day to watch them..:)

LOL, we had field mice in our house when I was a child. So I went to catch one to let him outside and he latched onto the palm of my hand with his teeth. I opened my hand to let him jump off and he just kept hanging on with his teeth. I rotated my hand downward and he just hung there dangling from my hand. So I lowered my hand to the floor and he finally let go and ran off. Glad he didn't have rabies. :D

I bought a hamburger from a 'so-called' fast food restaurant. The burger was good, but the price was unbelievable. Does anyone else remember when you could buy a bag full of hamburgers [7 small burgers] one U.S. dollar [bag contained 7 small hamburgers]

Give God the glory anyway!

I haven't been swimming in about 2 years and it is only 2 miles down the road, and free to me. Shame on me! Today I got the new code from my insurance to give them, and I'm going to put on my swimming suit right now and go before I talk myself out of it again! Bye.

Our subdivision has a pool, paid for by our Homeowners' Association dues, and I can count on the fingers of one hand how many time I've used it in the last 5 years. Okay, the last 7 years, because it was closed the last two summers because of Covid. Shame on me, too! We used it more when the grandkids would come over to visit, but they're grown now. So, this summer, I resolve to use the pool more often!

I was out bike riding yesterday evening around dusk. The fireflies come out this time of year. Those things are amazing, a hoard of tiny flashing green lights floating a few feet off the ground. Bioluminescence is a wonderful gift from an astonishing Creator. :)

My parents had a pool growing up to help with my mother's disability. She had MS. We had a lot of fun in that pool, I used to be able to hold my breath underwater for 3mins. And we used to jump off the roof into the pool. Good times.

No I don’t remember that. But I hear they only charged a dollar so you didn’t have to count out money and wait for change so you could hurry and get out of there quick before the dinosaurs came. I remember a quarter for a burger, nineteen cents even sticks in my head. But that was after all the dinosaurs were gone…

I think I am an ambivert. But lately, I just like keeping to just me and my husband.

My new favorite nighttime routine is tea, journaling, and relaxing music.
I'm sort of the same due to health problems. I tend to just work on math problems and visit family. I don't like to be in public and I used to love it :(

I remember in the early days of the "fast-food" restaurants they had price wars for hamburgers just like the price wars for gasoline. Those who could afford it sold hamburgers at a loss in order to drive competitors out of business. One of the big winners, of course, was McDonalds! How many hamburgers does one get for a dollar at McDonalds today?
