I was awoken today by pain in my feet. They are swollen, perhaps my untreated Lupus is the cause. They are changing color because of the blood vessels that are bursting in them, but I don't mind having different-colored feet.
I've been having cramps from my feet to my knees for a few days. My sciatica's worse than normal, but after 2 days, my migraine seems to be settling down. I despaired earlier, but the Lord assured me that He has a plan for my life.
But I do have a good attitude at the moment. I know that this too shall come to an end. And then it gets good! :)
Sorry I referenced the wrong passage, it should have been Ez 47:1-12. It should make more sense now.
@Wynona It's of course easy to analyze a lot but the writer to the Hebrews (Hebrews 12.2) exhorts his readers to keep "looking unto Jesus" and if we concentrate prayerfully on searching the Scriptures, then our minds are less likely to be filled with other things that are harmful.Today, I am being hit with all kinds of wild temptations left and right.
The Bible says these come from within but could it also be an attack from the enemy as well. Lately I have been growing in my faith, ministry, and self-control. Maybe Satan doesn't like that.
Most of these particular temptations aren't very strong individually. It's almost like I'm being sifted as wheat like Peter. Whatever will get me off this Narrow Path is being thrown at me.
I will have to watch and pray like Jesus warned us to do.

@Wynona I've been doing intermittent fasting and am already losing weight. Thanks for the idea!![]()
I use it for fasting and prayer so the fasting is for a Godly purpose. That way I'm not just going without food. You're welcome Devin! Im so glad it's working for you!
We are to speak the truth in love...sometimes the truth hurts.Today, I sent off a Christmas present overseas to my UK friend. It was a small challenge but worth it.
I also sent my husband a message saying I was wrong and he was right about something.
I used to scold him about not showing enough grace to evil people. But I was wrong. God's grace, biblically speaking, is not unlimited for all people.
Isaiah 26:10 NIV
10 But when grace is shown to the wicked,
they do not learn righteousness;
even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil
and do not regard the majesty of the Lord.
So I wanted to clarify that his attitude was correct in wanting things to be right and for wicked people to be punished.
Personally, I think there's a lack of balance in today's church because many theologies are built around verses that emphasize grace to the point of ignoring the severe warnings against sin and especially hypocrisy.
You can definitely hear it in the music that comes on contemporary Christian radio.
We are to speak the truth in love...sometimes the truth hurts.
"…5Better an open rebuke than love that is concealed. 6The wounds of a friend are faithful, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." - Proverbs 27:6
You don't want to hurt anyone! But sometimes by not speaking the truth, you actually end up hurting them in the long run.I used to be bad about not wanting to offend my friends.
But a sincerely meant truth ultimately earns people's respect more in the long run. My husband has taught me the value in speaking the truth well.
