How was your day?

Today started off really good. Got a lot done. Eating lunch has me wanting to sit down but Im hoping to do a lot more tasks.

This afternoon I am getting free tickets to a women's conference and attending. It's called Joytime ministries.

Even though I was excited to start a new journal, I am now feeling sad that my current one is running out of pages. It's like distancing from an old friend. Still there, but not in the same way.

I used to journal on an app on my phone. I love writing with a pen, though. It's like a therapeutic emotional release.

Today I decided it would be more modest of me to wear skirts and dresses in public. I also purchased a cute head covering.

I think @LadyofFireandLace would like that. Its a beige, brown, and orange infinity scarf.

The weather has had a very autumnal feel to it for the last few days; bright sun and blue skies but chilly. And also cold overnight especially those people who are queueing outside for over 12 hours to walk past the Queen's coffin.

There has been more TV coverage today of the Lying in State as the Queen's eight grandchildren stood vigil for a while. The youngest is only 15 so it must have been quite an ordeal for him as he is not often in the public eye.

My cheap five subject college ruled journal is all filled out from front to back. Now I can go to bed and tomorrow start on my beautiful Van Gogh inspired new journal.

Glad to be home with a few day off work. It's raining a little outside but not heavy. I'm looking forward to getting my family tree together. I did a DNA through myheritage but I should have used Ancestry instead because they appear to have more resources available. Hopefully I can finally get some gardens set up on my days off

I got a lot done today.

I prayed, read a chapter of Matthew, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, put away the laundry, and donated some books, clothes, and crafts. I'm really enjoying having a minimal closet. It's just easier to pick an outfit and laundry is easy now. I might thin out some pajamas next.

I watched some women scrapbook on youtube, then decorated a few pages myself. Im craving a slice of cake but I know the sweets tend to be available whether I go out and buy them or not.

For dinner, I will use rotisserie chicken scraps, diced onion, seasoning, and portabello mushroom soup to make a chicken dish I have no name for. Ill serve it with brown rice and steamed cauliflower.

Despite spending more time alone than ever, I'm still feeling good.

I visited family today. It was a nice day. Went for walks too. Now I'm getting ready to retire for the night.
