If you approach a marine corps drill instructor in basic training you get knocked out. So no hugs probably. Don't know about Navy though.

I'd really love my hubby to take me, but someone has to watch the kids and he hates movies. I usually have to rib him, because he falls asleep every time (and he SNORES). I love him though. LOL
16.10 is ten past four on the twenty four hour clock. It's now 18:10 - ten past six
Spiderman really was good. It was a bit sad though. We went to golden corral afterwards and didn't realize how much I needed time with a friend. I really don't get out all that much anymore. May have been a bit low lately. I just miss connecting to people really.
I'm going to have to write a fanfiction for some loose ends of the Spiderman movie though. I can't talk about, because it would be some spoilers, but there needs to be some things happen. LOL. Spiderman friend is only 17.

Not to mention feet and pounds instead of meters and grams.We use a 12 hour clock. And we use fahrenheit instead of Celsius.

Very well.
Vise for pipe broke yesterday, so needed to shop for another.
Weather was good, (has been heavy fog and rainy). Expected to have to go 40+ miles to store in next town. Fortunate to spot a Ace as approaching town, they had a vice, and no need to navigate the town traffic. Returning, eyeing the junk shops along the hwy, picked one to stop look around. More good fortune, to find a old small gas heater we had been internet searching, and pricy, this one the exact size, and great price. Not fond of shopping or traffic, but today all went efficiently smooth.

I know what you mean. Unplanned and unpleasant!
So sick of the big box stores, from Mal-Wart to “home improvement” jokes, full of scrambled junk, and the clerks who if available, know nothing about their specific areas. It’s leaning to hiring rotating grunts to stock their Zero quality products and the consumer is self-find, self-clerk, self-pay, self-carry.
Oh I still work in feet , inches and pounds and ounces despite the fact we went metric years ago.
I must admit I am surprised you don’t use a 24 hour clock in the US

Just taken my Christmas decorations down, like going into the new year with afresh start……mind you it felt like running a marathon as I don’t feel too ill with covid, but the fatigue is a bit weird to deal with !!
Still it’s all done , so now I am putting my feet up….sadly not fancying a cuppa as it tastes funny when I have a virus.

Not in this case, I always get a coated tongue when I get colds ect, so it just makes tea taste funny. I haven’t lost my taste or smell , thank goodness.
