Hey friend-I use the Koine Greek daily and the Hebrew Masoretic and not afraid to look up selective scholars to help me to understand the text and rightly divide-why so hard on @Rita?
Instead of rejoicing with her you slam-dunk her-we are ALL watching out so no need to continually warning believers in Christ Jesus but speak up and out to those you have a problem with.
It can get a bit tiresome.

I am simply saying if we want to know what one believes , ask questions . you would be amazed
my dear friend . One can say GOD is love and i say GOD is love
and yet one can use that phrase to justify evil and remove truth that corrects . WHILE as I WONT do that .
But this aint the only thing . Start asking US all questions . ask me , ask rita , ask the other guy here
And you watch and behold our answers .
I see many people that make statments like WE BELEIVE IN JESUS THE CHRIST , only to find out by oversation
and by bringing truth , THEY SURE DONT SEEM TO BELIEVE HIM . which amounts to A PROBLEM johann .
How do we know one truly has the LOVE OF GOD and not rather the love of the world . ITS real easy to discern it my friend .

IT would my friend . i am not against greek .
But what i say to one i say to all . I did learn what it meant , GOD showed me . also i had and do have
a very old english dictionary .
HERE is the kicker . When men brought greek words and etc
i already knew it without the greek . NOW HOW do you suppose that was .
MEN who wrote the older bibles , like tyndale , wycliff , later the kjv or geneva . THEY HAD corectely translated .
YOU SEE todays men try and tell us THEY DIDNT KNOW GREEK or etc .
THEY KNEW BETTER tthan todays clowns who decieve know .
That too is a fact . NOW i already know
the word easter was used in the KJV . BUT IF we read the line , those were the days of unleavend bread
HELLO DOLLY that is the PASSOVER . see i knew that without any greek .
Now the tyndale and geneva and etc had used the word passover .
But i didnt know that till i later read them for myself .
But just cause the KJV used easter dont make it a bad translation .
It just mens sadly it what they called it . i suppose
the word easter had replaced passover . WHICH i wish they had not done that , but still its accurate .
In fact just by the continual reading of the bible
i know the difference between how TEMPTATION and TRIAL was often used under the same word as TEMPTATION .
but again by reading it over and over again , I came to see exactly which one was being used .
YOU would be amazed at what GOD can do for the soul that loves HIM .
Just like the word preceed and prevent . it uses the word prevent , yet it should say preceeed .
But again when i even first read that i knew it mean precede by just the way it read .
THE BIBLE AINT COMPLICATED . only a few places can be hard at first to understand .
I never sat under one scholar
and yet i can prove that james and paul DID did not contradict each other , like some try and say they did
or that peter nor paul preached different gospels , like some try and say they did .
I JUST read the bible for me . AND GOD taught me . and its not really that difficult at all . MEN COMPLICATED THINGS .

BUT VERY VERY FEW . say for example prevent . that actually means in several places preceed . as in go before

that line used in the letter to the thessalonians , I KNEW what it meant by just reading .
Plus words like incontinent or others . WELL i looked them up in the older dictionary .
And if the word was used in a phrase , I had already understood it right .
NOW if it was used in a list , I DID NOT KNOW IT . but we would be amazed at how
plain and easily understood the bible is . ITS MEN that complicate it . by twisting it
to fit their own deceived teachings .

All I know is the Bible is written in such a way that it can’t be properly understood unless the words are treated with the utmost respect.

I’m certain if every person came to the Bible with an open mind and no preconceived ideas and believed exactly what was written then we would all agree.

It’s not like the Bible can be interpreted, the Bible just says what it says. The only leeway we have as far as interpretation goes is whether a topic is spiritual or literal and when we can establish a doctrine with zero contradictions then we know we’ve done it right.

Only if they do twist the scriptures is when i have the problem .
The who as concerns the they and them , my friend that number be so high i dont think any mere mortal
could count it .
However i have not once said you twist the scrips .
Nor that you use the greek or hebrew to do so .
But many long have .
And due to the fact i do not know all who do so
i must exhort all to beware and to test all . To actually read and enjoy the scriptures for themselves .

Here is the issue with trying to read the Bible as if its a Dictionary, or an Encyclopedia, or a Newspaper

Its not..

See, the words in the word of God, are all spiritual, because Christianity is all Spiritual.
So, you must be OF the Spirit of God, born again, or the bible will not reveal itself., and it still wont, until you learn how to discern it.

And once again... born again, is not "dunked in water or sprinkled".. so, be not deceived about that reader.

This means... that Its not about readying it.. its about HOW the Holy Spirit reveals the Light of Revelation, that is in the verse, inside your spiritual understanding.

You dont get this from just reading the verse, over and over.

Bible verses have to be OPENED- revealed by the Holy Spirit, who is "Christ in you".... or they remain words on a page that you would read and not understand them, even tho they seem to make perfect sense.

This is why 1John 1 says you must confess sin, and 1 John 3 says you dont. (KJV).

The words in the word of God are "Spiritually Discerned", and that means the Spirit of God, reveals them to you.

"Behold,......you mean if im not saved, or if i am saved, and i just read the NT 150 times, i can't understand it correctly".

That's correct., you can't, as the bible is not to be understood, its to be Spiritually DISCERNED.

And because so many who started a denomination, cannot, then that is why you have 45,000 denominations in the world that DO NOT AGREE ON SCRIPTURE, and never will.


This is why you have a "cult of Mary" and a Protestant church.
