I’ve seen it too. What he witnessed about the inner man in you.
Then you also speak the same as he did, if this is likewise what you say, "Your outer man is still way too strong for you to grow in the Lord. You will need more courage more faith to break that bond."

I know we all have our opinions of each other, based on our perceptions, and our biases. Mostly I think they are best kept to one's self. Some speak so to gain advantage. This requires discernment, and humility.

Much love!

Definitely not if the head is cut off.
agreed.. I have known people who have had their thumb cut off.. While they learn to adapt.. they are still limited..
Ok. Again, we disagree. I see similarities in smell being spoken of as a savor of death to one and a savor of Life to another. God being sufficient. To me it stands out idols and those that make an idol like unto themselves. Can’t smell. That is only one where idols can’t. Another, I will walk in them. Idols don’t walk. Feet. Idols can’t come with the glorious gospel, because they can’t speak nor walk. Taste…idols can’t taste of the good word of that which is to come. For there is no Life in them, no breath. If that doesn’t connect to the body given in that passage of being given the Spirit of God to smell the savor, to taste His goodness, to feel after Him “handle Me” …then ok that is your perspective. Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image (idol) made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Yes Romans 1 is about mankind at the tower of babel. where they made Gods who would do what they wanted.. Because they rejected the God who created them, and became foolish in their hearrts

As for the passage in Corinthians

12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.

15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no [h]schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.

The whole passage is about spiritual gifting. and different members of the body of Christ. from which each person was baptized into.

it has nothiing to do with Idols. or those in romans 1. Paul told the gentiles. that is where they came from. this is now..

Your contribution was so helpful on the four. I don’t know anything about dynasties to be honest. But what you shared was free from other men’s influences…at least to me. what I mean is your openness to read without all the noise…but then sucked back into the noise. That is what I meant is, I’ve seen that conflict in you.

…but then sucked back into the noise.
What does that mean? As I recall, I was looking at the text and talking about the words and wording, and comparing it to another text. Is it that you think I then just returned to my indoctrination?

Much love!

It's about chaos and clarity. A moment of clarity...which is not recognized as such...is soon swallowed back up into the chaos. Like darkness and light. One has to be able to discern the difference...or else be drawn back into the darkness.

See there is a part of you that understands. But you don't live there.

You said something earlier not to marks but someone else which sounded harsh …about the inner man being on life support. It made me think of
Revelation 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

I can’t say what your noise is. Sometimes hearing not other men’s religion speak. But then men’s religions having its
Upper hand and say?
Then I don't know what you are saying. What I recall was that when I started getting into the particular passages, epis didn't choose to continue. Were you wanting to continue to look at those?

Much love!

Yes...to the church of Sardis...which represents the Protestant church. A name that lives but that is dead.

I see a lot of dead religion here. Individuals are in different places...but overall...the outer man rules over weak and ineffective inner men.

The truth sounds harsh..until you realize the truth reveals conditions that are not always free and easy to describe.

I understand your ways, and how you perpetually seek advantage over others.

Much love!
There you are! That's your outer man looking for advantage. But I spoke from inner man to inner man. You can have the courage to stand up to your outer man. I know from experience (I know others just like you) how hard that would be for you to do it.

I have not yet seen someone in your condition overcome the outer man. He's way too crafty. Too well versed in survival techniques.

There's always a first!

again

You can;t speak from the inner man if it is dead because of the wage of sin, and not made alive

and your right? We should just blindly follow you because if we believe as we do we are blind..
Honesty doesn't mean you have to agree with anybody. It means you face your own situation before God through prayer and waiting on the Lord for Him to confirm something is true or not.

Most here have no real connection to God...so they rely on carnal defense mechanisms that reside in the part of them that is meant to be crucified.

It's better to go to God. It's better to surrender to Him...and be broken in the outer man.

There you are!
It reminds me of a game we used to play when we were children. Someone would say something, the other would say, "I know you are but what am I?" It would be to provoke each other. "You're so and so!" "I know you are but what am I?" "You're such and such!" "I know you are but what am I?". We called it, "I know you are but what am I."

As we grew up, we stopped playing that game.

Deflection and Honest are so very different from each other, and will not have the same results.

Much love!
