I don't see how. Dispensationalism is just a system that describes how God Yahweh interacted with His people and brought them to salvation throughout the course of life on earth. God must have saved people in the old testament but He did so without the Gospel at that time. Now we are in the gospel or church age. Humanity was under that dispensation until Christ came in the flesh.Dispensationalism is a way to have non-spiritual people read the bible and say...that's for someone else. :)
He doesn’t realize the Old Testament and the New Testament are two different dispensationsI don't see how. No I teach the doctrine of Christ....which differs greatly from "reformed theology."So you're a papist then?
Define reformed theology for us and how it’s different from the apostles teachings and the teachings of Jesus .No I teach the doctrine of Christ....which differs greatly from "reformed theology."
People who have been spoiled by an anemic doctrine that covers up the flesh are unable to hear a sound apostolic doctrine.
Are you a Calvinist?
Sort of. But the human mind can't fathom the ways of God. So you can't make it so cut and dried.I don't see how. Dispensationalism is just a system
I think so too. But there is a great danger in opening up the bible to be interpreted by carnal religious interests. The alternative is to keep the laity from reading the bible at all.
I prefer that Christians have the bible and be mistaken from time to time, than never be able to read and hear the bible unless clergy says so. That is surely the lesser of two evils.
You don’t even believe the gospel since you deny it’s most important and central Apostolic teaching - the bodily Resurrection of Christ . Who are you trying to fool now ? In fact every time you are asked to define the gospel you run away from the question disobeying the Apostle Peters command in 1 Peter 3:15.Sort of. But the human mind can't fathom the ways of God. So you can't make it so cut and dried.
Heb. 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Very few here have any depth of understanding concerning the race of faith. We are in a race that is exactly equivalent to the Israelites in Exodus. Are you also indoctrinated in the ways of the modern gospel that refutes this?

-race of faith-equivalent to the Israelites in Exodus-care to elaborate?Very few here have any depth of understanding concerning the race of faith. We are in a race that is exactly equivalent to the Israelites in Exodus. Are you also indoctrinated in the ways of the modern gospel that refutes this?
You have made a lot of statement that the letters of Paul-the ye, you-is not applicable to US-but for THEM--same as you are in denial of the necessity of the new birth-but contradict yourself in that it is Imperative to be born of the Spirit--when it is the SAME in Koine Greek-Dispensationalism is a way to have non-spiritual people read the bible and say...that's for someone else.
There are excellent teachings in reformed theology and I won't write it off.Define reformed theology for us and how it’s different from the apostles teachings and the teachings of Jesus .
I’m calling your bluff as you have no ideas the differences
I don’t think epi has any clue .There are excellent teachings in reformed theology and I won't write it off.
A body of doctrinal divinity by Gill is excellent-The cause of God and practical divinity.
It is rather unfortunate that Reformed Theology adopted Five Point Calvinism (which is a false gospel). They have many other teachings which are biblical, but one must be totally consistent and that is not the case. CHRIST DIED FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD and to deny that is heresy. There are excellent teachings in reformed theology and I won't write it off.

I have just finished all the documentaries about Warren Jeffs I could find....Netflix/ Peacock.
This one follows the FLDS cultic propaganda. Zion, higher walk, twisting of scriptures, gathering up silly women & ignorant men to follow his cultish doctrine.
Man O man it slapped me btwn the eyes how similar to Warren Jeffs this OP's bull is......
He brainwashed them into believing he was their atonement & they would be gods if they were chosen & qualified.
Sexual abuse of children, women's sexual orgies, child labour...ect ect. How far does this one carry brainwashing of followers IRL.??????
May God guard the hearts of those WHOM ARE TRULY TRUTH SEEKERS, & THE UNWILLING BLIND amongst this forum.
That is Mormonism..
Yes Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints. It's only considered an " infraction " among Mormonism.
I assumed you were not a Calvinist. And the snippet about Reformed Theology was all I wanted to focus on. So we both are on the same page.Problem again--you took a snippet from my post-I said I am NOT a Calvinist and I'm not here to debate Armenian theology either.
AmenThe alternative is to keep the laity from reading the bible at all.

I think the Catholics were saying...let us clergy be the hypocrites for you. But with the reformation came...as well as a few who benefited greatly...what became a Pharisee factory with each person justifying himself for his beliefs.
The way the carnal religious mind turns...And here we go.
Keep the Bible away from the people. They might figure out who I am.. for I am not catholic. I am not reformed. I am not a protestant. I am my own religion. I am a prophet sent from God.. blah blah blah..
As an admitted not catholic he himself is a protestant by defenition, Yet he always attacks Protestants.
By his works based Gospel. And puffing himself up. He is a modern day pharisee, yet he called people who trust in Christ alone as being pharisees.
It just goes on and on and on
