This article is from the 1990s, when HIV treatment was in its infancy. Now that HIV is treatable, it no longer shortens lifespan - and so the article is seriously out of date!

A good mates brother was Queer as they come and he had HIV but he did not die because of HIV but what he did die from was because of HIV.

Sin is sin and I think the worst is when the finger is pointed in accusation with the assumption one is immune.

Given the topic,I wouldn't agree Christians are worse when standing in Scripture and reiterating homosexuality is an abomination.Especially in the face of those who advocate the sin.

The woman who allegedly committed adultery was not a Lesbian.

Had she been God said she should be put to death.In which case Jesus,who was that very God,would have acted differently if he was to be consistent.

I find it irresponsible to think we are not to judge sin. Especially when it is being proposed as perfectly normal and no sin at all.

We are told we are to judge and to use righteous judgement. And in the case of those who wilfully sin with no repentant spirit at all,we are to cast aside.

No scripture tells us to abide wilful sinners and speak not against their transgressions.

God calls homosexuality abomination worthy of death.

But New Testament believers are to tolerate the sins and not judge?

Imagine the long list of tolerable sins that sets us up for.

Jesus said the gates of hell will not prevail against the advance of His church.
That can't happen unless we get out there.

But what do Christians do? They hide out at home and at church.
Reasoning that outside is "such filth."

Let's face it, partnering with Jesus to build His church is a messy business.
