Whatever happened with the migration, it shows that they migrated from where Noah's sons exited the ark, populated the region, and then migrated as the result of the division of languages. This was not Africa as evolutionist claim but in the region of modern day Turkey.

He will, God says die in the day that he eats from the tree. No way to dodge it. That's God's word. Instead of trying to find a loophole to get around Him, just accept His word as it is. All you can do is go around in circles, repeat yourself, in the desperate attempt to disprove what God has literally said.

The day speaks of the day that they eat the fruit, not the day in which they will die. You are bending the basic rules of comprehension and language structure as well as adding to the Scripture, putting you right in the path of Proverbs 30:5-6).

If what you say is true then God should have said:

Sorry, but you are twisting the meaning of the verse to suit your own particular view.

It could very well be a god of his own imagination, and not the God of the Bible. That is a violation of the first commandment where he has constructed his mental image of a god replacing the true God who says that there is no other God but Him.

True. But it is best assumption that we have, and gives a clue to where your ancestors may have come from and why your skin is a lighter brown than indigenous Australians, who may have originated from one of the other sons of Noah.

By the way, it was shocking to me to learn that the early Australian colonisers believed that the indigenous people were so far down the evolutionary scale that they viewed them as little more than animals, and is the reason why in Tasmania they killed as many of them as they could. You may not believe me, but it is backed up by historical records of early Australia. But then the British had much the same attitude toward the New Zealand Maori when they first arrived here. Just a bit of information that has nothing to do with the thread. :-)

I haven't a doubt in my mind that he believes in a god besides the one true God, since he apparently believes God could have created Adam and Eve to be without sin, without the ability to fall into temptation, like God. Then you are actually making God out to be a liar, because Adam did not die that very day, but 900 years later. But the Scripture says that God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). I think you have painted yourself into a corner, because you have only two alternatives:
1. God did not say that Adam was going to die the day he ate the fruit;
or:
2. God lied when He said Adam would die the very day he ate the fruit, when in fact he died 900 years later.

Also, you are saying that God further lied when He said that He was not a man that He should lie, when He actually was lying when He said it! If that is so, how can you believe anything else that He has told us in the Bible?

How do you know whether He was telling the truth when He said those who believe in Christ have the right to call themselves His children? (John 1:12).

So, how can you know that you are truly saved if God cannot be depended on to tell the truth?

OIC "evening and morning, one day" cannot be a 24 hour day. Not sure which planet Augustine of Hippo was dwelling on at the time.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Gen 1:5)
...and so on.

Thanks to Auggie we were given a theory called amillennialism, another non-literal approach to prophecy.

Actually, we can't define perfection, because we have never seen it. We live in a fallen, imperfect world where everything around us has the curse of God on it because of Adam's disobedience. The whole planet is riddled with death and decay.

A leading geneticist has stated that according to genetics, if mankind was millions of years old, we would have become extinct long ago, because of the running down of the genetic code. According to his research, the current genetic state of mankind is consistent with having just two original parents around 6000 years ago, and that the way that the genetic makeup of mankind is degrading, mankind will be extinct within another million years.

He bases his research on animals which have become extinct apart from man's affect on the environment, and has discovered that most extinct species died out because they got to the point where their offspring's genetic code was so degraded through continual mutation until offspring become so deformed that they cannot survive and continue breeding. He says that this will eventually happen to human beings.

Even if there were thousands of humans existing that provided the gene pool for mankind, the eventual day when mankind will no longer be able to produce healthy surviving offspring will not be significantly further away into the future than if there were just two original parents.

I found that quite interesting, and it shows that our world and everything in it is subject to decay and death, and therefore was not the original perfect world that God created.

I like to think of it as like a storage device for a computer. Your storage device has a shelf life for how many times it can read and write to and from the random access memory before it completely degrades. With nothing in place to restore it to its original, "perfect in thy ways", "very good" state, its only a matter of time before you'll have to replace it. With Jesus in the picture, who is "the life", there will no longer be any such degradation, or decay. When God kicked Adam and Eve out of Eden, they no longer had access to "the life", so their death was only a matter of time, because Jesus was "the life" of the tree in Eden, just like he will be "the life" of the tree of life in New Jerusalem.

It is not that evolution itself is to blame, but it is the way people have used evolution to view non-white people as being of an inferior race lower down on the evolutionary scale. One prominent evolutionist stated that the intelligence level of black Africans is equivalent to a European 11 year old. This is just human prejudice hanging it on the available evolution nail.

So, for Christians, instead of aiming our gospel cannons at abortion, homosexuality, rape, racisim, and all the other evils that are built on the foundation of evolution, we should aiming our big guns at the foundation instead. This is what evolutionists are doing, they are firing their big guns at the foundation of our Christianity and this is causing the building on top to shake and start to crumble.

If a person is evolutionist, then there is no set rules for them, and that anything goes, including abortion, homosexuality, pornography, and lawlessness. Meaning of life, standards, marriage, and laws go out the window. That is why a woman can have her unborn child murdered and have no conscience about it, because there are no set standards on which to base her view of right and wrong, because on the foundation of evolution there is no right or wrong.

A good question to ask an evolutionist is, "Can I shoot you?" If he says that is wrong, we can say, "There are no rules, we can do what we like can't we? And if I think you are an inferior species of human, I can purify the race by killing you off, can't I? That's what Adolf Hitler did, and he thought he was a good person doing the best for Germany!"

Never mentioned evolution, apes are apes they will never evolve into anything else but another species of apes. A fis is a fish it can never be anything else but a fish millions of years wont change that
