Seems the same way in the churches too .
they additced to GRAVE FOOD . cause the words they so love to eat , well lets just say they do not give eternal life .
and all the hopes they be putting into politicians these days , WHO can make our life best and most conveient
OHH WEE , its led them to the lie my friends . People get impaitient over about anything these days .
BUT raise up a narcistic me the god mindset , AND that mind dont like to wait for squat
IT demands its entilements .
THEY destroyed this people taken . literally destoryed them . but
what happens when a people rejects GOD and wants no reminder of him . REPROBATION TIME happens .
Now we got the skittles generation , just give us our rainbow love
and its fine to beleive as thou wilt and do as thou wilt , WELL CEPT BRING A BIBLE and speak truth .

Hi there,

So this is intended as a thread in which to share the burden of being addicted to McDonald's, but also to brainstorm ways of beating the addiction.

Off the top of my head, it might help to meditate on MacDonald's food, as if it is decaying and dying - that is a Tibetan Buddhist trick, to kick over-eating in general.

Also, there is prayer: I have asked my faithful Mum a couple of times, to pray that my addiction would go away.

Part of it, is just staying clear (from McDonalds') altogether, not going in for a pancake or a piece of cheesecake.

What is your experience? There are some people, that eat it every day without fail - I don't envy them!

In my life, I haven't really eaten that much, it is just that I had a craving for it from a very early age and I reached the point where I realised "Hey, I really don't have self-control in this area of my life".

Tell me what you think? Would Jesus eat McDonald's?
There's no McDonald's where I live, but Mr. Duck misses it from time to time. So I learned copycat recipes to make "fake" McDonald's for him. It's his favorite.

It must be healthier, I imagine, and you could control the ingredients.

If you really want to just get mad at it and walk away, look at the prices long enough. $12 for a meal is ridiculous. Whatever happened to the dollar menu days.

Whatever happened to the dollar menu days.

I used to get 5 bucks for lunch money and ate well!

I went to Taco Bell and ordered a Burrito Supreme at the drive thru window. I got a dollar menu burrito. I didnt go back. Eventually I wondered if it was a mistake or a fluke so I ordered anothe r Burrito Supreme. The same thing happened, bean & cheese. And that little snot nose high schooler tried to convince me that it was a Burrito Supreme!

No more Taco Bell for me.

It's the most incredible thing, I realised that my struggling with McDonald's was actually a struggle with God, about how to perfect my appetite.

God was trying to get me to perfect my appetite, but I was tempted to waste that perfection (rather than grow in it).

Incredible!

It's got to the point where I have had to cut parts of my body - spiritually - to stop the addiction spreading.

I don't know what it is, but every time I switch my desire for McDonald's off, something else turns it on.

I've tried burning the desire in spiritual fire, to going cold and unresponsive - nothing seems to work?

Just now it was prayed to God that the desire die - let's see where that takes us!

I seen yesterday a video came up in my feed that McDonalds is having E-Coli problems in their meat right now....Does that help?

You know what, I just imagined that maybe McDonald's will always go off (at some point) and it brought my thinking to a standstill!

The Devil will bury you in McDonald's if he thinks you'll reach a point where you can't function without it!

It's no kidding that this thread has got 6K views!

I realised that actually my addiction to McDonald's is partly madness - that has made it easier. As such it has needed a cure and laughing at that cure has brought me closer to sanity. I think from there, I can just starve the addiction out. If it doesn't have madness to back it up, I should be ok soon enough.

I think my addiction might have been fueled by an anti-christ?

The addiction seems to travel from flesh to spirit then back to flesh?

It's reached the point where, I consciously think to myself "you are not - at this moment - eating McDonald's" but it doesn't register as a good or bad thought (just a constant one). I think that was the Devil's work?

I'm not sure what more than prayer and fasting can do?

I just want to pray for people who are sick of McDonald's. I pray that they overcome their addiction and become at peace. I rebuke the Devil for making people hungrier and hungrier and I plead the blood of Jesus over all our lives, when it comes to McDonald's. In Jesus' Name Amen.

What amazes me on this christian forum is a waste of time talking about McDonald’s
I am not apologizing for what I just said!
We have a world that’s about ready to get turned upside down whether it’s by UFOs or the antichrist and people are worried about McDonald’s

Go figure

One person's real struggle with addiction and health is another person's theoretical possibilities of the future that may or may not happen at this point in time at some point, possibly

I'm starting to realise my only real hope is God. I can't boast about my appetite, any more! God is my only satiation!

If you can pray it (Lord thank you for control of my appetite in you), the Lord can do it (in His Name Amen).

What it might be (this addiction) is an addiction to refined sugars - the kind that McDonald's put in their food?

If you are low in "Chromium", you can get sugar cravings (the more refined the sugar, the more addicting?)

I'm praying none of my brothers and sisters get Chromium deficiency!
