@TLHKAJ Not referring specifically to your dear mom now, but I guess that magnolia dresses, huge hair curls and a constant rhythm of strings playing in the background can be an acquired habit as much as from being native to it. Nurture versus nature, I guess. (I hope this isn't too stereotypical...)
