And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Philippians 2:8 RSV
Jesus was The Word made flesh. If course that was humbling because the intensity of God was but a tiny spark in the flesh and bone human he'd created in Mary's virgin womb.

God himself is not humble.

God himself is not humblein flesh,
Jesus was Emmanuel - God with us (Matthew 1:23 RSV). And Jesus was humble.

God is humble?
Yes, Jehovah is humble:

Psal. 113:6-8 “He stoops down to look on heaven and earth, raising the lowly from the dust. He lifts up the poor . . . to make him sit with nobles.”

He accepts our worship but he also views us as his friends, and he took the iniciative giving his Son in the first place (John 3:16; 1 John 4:10):

Psal. 25:14 Close friendship with Jehovah belongs to those who fear him,
And he makes his covenant known to them.

Instead of making us without the ability to choose the course of our lives he made us in his image and gave us free will. He wants us lowly humans to serve him from our heart because we love him and we recognize the benefits of obeying him.

Deut. 10:12 Now, O Israel, what is Jehovah your God asking of you? Only this: to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul, 13 and to keep the commandments and statutes of Jehovah that I am commanding you today for your own good.

Jehovah is the wisest Person in the universe. Even so, he is willing to accept suggestions from others. For example, Jehovah allowed his Son to assist him in creating all things. (Heb. 1:2).

Jehovah is almighty, and still he delegates authority to others. For instance, he appointed Jesus to be King of the Kingdom, and He will give a measure of authority to Jesus' human joint heirs who become corulers with Jesus.

Luke 12:32 Have no fear, little flock, for your Father has approved of giving you the Kingdom.

Jehovah also trains Jesus’ corulers, but he does not give them this assignment and then step in to manage every detail of the work. Instead, he trusts that they will do his will.

Rev. 5:10 (...) they are to rule as kings over the earth.

The Bible indicates that Jehovah is interested in the opinions of his angelic sons:

1 Kings 22:19 Micaiah then said: “Therefore, hear the word of Jehovah:
I saw Jehovah sitting on his throne and all the army of the heavens standing by him, to his right and to his left. 20 Jehovah then said, ‘Who will fool Ahab, so that he will go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ And one was saying one thing while another said something else. 21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before Jehovah and said, ‘I will fool him.’ Jehovah asked him, ‘How will you do it?’ 22 He replied, ‘I will go out and become a deceptive spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ So he said, ‘You will fool him, and what is more, you will be successful. Go out and do that.’ ..."

Jehovah's patience expresses also his humility (Gen. 18:22-33).

Rom. 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, because you do not know that God in his kindness is trying to lead you to repentance?

So even though Jehovah is the Universal Sovereign and has qualities such as unmatched omniscience and power, his humility makes Him to allow imperfect and lowly humans to benefit from a dignified relationship with Him.

God himself is not humble.
If you aren't humble, you aren't perfect. God is perfect.

Thanks.
My belief is what you read out of the Bible ... I quoted the passages and logical reasoning.
The Scriptures contain the truth (John 17:17; 2 Tim. 3:16,17), and that is why I believe what I quoted. Otherwise I would not.
Biblical teachings are not optional ... They are just THE TRUTH. ;)

2 Sam. 22:32 For who is a God besides Jehovah?
And who is a rock except our God?
33 The true God is my strong fortress,
And he will make my way perfect.
34 He makes my feet like those of a deer;
He makes me stand on high places.
35 He trains my hands for warfare;
My arms can bend a bow of copper.
36 You give me your shield of salvation,
And your humility makes me great.
37 You widen the path for my footsteps;
My feet will not slip.

God is not a respecter of persons.

Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Eph 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Luk 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

No, I didn't. I'm trying to show you that the Lord is not boasting when he tells us he'll take care of us. We need to know that.

Yes God cares and desires to provide any and all who look and seek him in faith. To renew their hearts and minds by writing His law upok them as they seek and have relations with the one whom adopts them into the kingdom, through adoption which one calls out tk the Father. Which is being born again by the holy spirit and fire, which Yeshua is meant to bring in forth to believers in this life wherre they can also care for others because of knowing Gods care for all of mankind, Estey.

I was right, you are addressing the wrong person. I never said anything that implied nor allowed to be inferred God does not take care of us.

You said, "God himself is not humble." I was addressing that.
I would tell you that in no way can be translated as my saying God does not take care of us.

Are you aware of the definition of humility?
The creator of all, is not humble.
