We as born again Christians are called “to die to sin.

We are called “to die to the deeds of the flesh,”which is “sinful behavior.”

Our first man nature in Adam is like a natural brute beast, which is meant to be taken and destroyed. Either you get busy “dying to self and to sin,” or you will be destroyed.

Our first man “is flesh,”and it is written that no flesh shall be justified in the sight of the Lord. Just as Jesus came to “condemn sin in the flesh.”

Meaning if you are still walking “in the flesh,”then you are still “under the condemnation of sin.”

If you are born again of the Holy Spirit, then you are no longer “in the flesh,” and therefore you will no longer be “serving sin.”

We are servants to whom we obey, either of sin unto death, or obedience unto righteousness, and we are “marked” according to whom we serve.

Like Abraham, who was ordered by God to offer up his only begotten son; we too are ordered to “put to death”our firstborn man, which is flesh and carnally minded. And we are told to present ourselves a “living sacrifice.”

The Lord came to kill that first born nature in Moses, and to also remove that rudy red man image in David. It was the “firstborn”of both man and beast that was destroyed by the Destroyer in Egypt because they had not the blood of the Lamb on their houses.

It was also “all flesh” that was destroyed in the flood of Noah’s day as a sign of things to come when God shall destroy the “wicked sinners”of the earth by fire in the last days. Just as the Lord said by Isaiah, He is coming to destroy “all the sinners”out of the land.

Don’t you know when you are baptized into Christ, you are baptized into His death? Meaning that old man of sin nature in Adam is supposed to be “put to death in you.”

If that old man of sin is dead in you, then you will no longer be “serving sin”and living to the lusts of the flesh.

If you are made a “new man” in Christ you will now be living in righteousness, having “put to death”that old man of sin.

So get busy dying daily to sin and to self, and put to death the deeds of the flesh, and destroy the body of sin that is in you.

And beware, that if you build again that which Jesus Christ came to destroy in you, then you shall be found to be a transgressor, and you shall be destroyed if you do not repent!

Galatians 2:17-18

King James Version

17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? ((God forbid.))
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.”

Many will tell you that you will always be a sinner and you cannot be free from sin. But they are not speaking the Truth according to the gospel message.

If you are dead to sin and sin is truly put to death in you by the power of the Holy Spirit, then sin is no longer active in your life and you will no longer serve sin.

Hear this Truth….

Romans 6

King James Version

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

@Stewardofthemystery God works on people where they are at. Jesus has paid for all sins of the world. I believe those who encounter Yahavah in faith, will be let known when they are in the wrong. What are your thoughts on that? Consider Jesus has paid for the sins of the world which killed him, on the cross.

It’s going to the Holy Spirit/spirit of Christ working in them, perhaps within speaking to what is good and what is right, and what is evil and what is bad.

I’m not saying it’s good to “wish death upon your neighbor, or even a murderer.” I remember a Bible verse that explicitly states “if you hate your brother or sister, it’s not any different from being a murderer.”

Your thoughts? Mine are my flesh fails, but Yeshua gets me through, and makes people right with Yahavah.

Those who are truly born of God have His witness dwelling in themselves. God’s 2 witnesses are His Word and His Spirit, both will bear witness to the conscience of the believer.
Consider Jesus has paid for the sins of the world which killed him, on the cross.
But a person must believe in Jesus Christ and in His words so that they do not die in their sins.
John 8:24
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Your thoughts? Mine are my flesh fails, but Yeshua gets me through, and makes people right with Yahavah.
That is why we are told to put to death the deeds of the flesh(sin) by the power of the Holy Spirit.

If something is truly put to death in you it is no longer active (alive) in your life.

Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body,(sin) ye shall live.
