Madness hides itself.....that's part of it's insidious nature.

Is Mr Putin mad? he probably doesn't think so. Was Hitler mad? Was Pol Pot mad? Were the Popes who ordered the crusades mad?
Is the insatiably greedy pursuit of gain mad? Is the overwhelming homelessness of rich nations madness?

Madness always dresses itself in in what it considers respectability. Religious madness is one aspect of many aspects of madness....it doesn't matter how many times one lifts ones hands or talks in religious terms. It manifests as alienation of those who think differently even when its stated ideals are inclusivity.

To admit madness and identify it is a step towards sanity.
