Lol Is posting this sign necessary? Shouldn’t this be common sense?

Some years ago one of our apartment building managers posted that exact sign!!!
I thought it was strange, too.

I told a former neighbor about it....she wanted a photo of it to pass around!

I saw the same sign at a hotel I stayed in out in Sacramento. I wonder if it's a California health regulation?

If a design feature doesn't make sense, there's probably a legal reason behind it. - Engineer who taught this class I took on design-for-efficiency.
