One of the things I liked about Christianity as provided by God is the idea of letting go of blaming others about things they have done in offending or injuring me. God will ultimately be the judge and Jesus the savior. At some point God may forgive my enemies their sins against themselves and also me and my family. I wonder sometimes if that is one thing that separates and defines Christians differently from other groups of people. I sometimes wonder if some people hang on to offenses from others and injuries and that can perhaps build up and fester in a person and destroy their happiness. I really enjoy the process that God and his son Jesus the Christ provide together with the Holy Ghost when they provide a "letting go of offenses and injuries" and moving on into happiness with ourselves and society.

Being a judge in society which is what God desires for us, to discern right from wrong and good from evil. Moral and ethical wisdom and knowledge, allow us to defend against perpetrators in society, and also allow us to be free from oppression and dark forces as provided in our USA constitution which is supported and defended by out governing authorities with their organizations and law enforcement. The military is a type of law enforcement, protecting USA citizens from those that might attempt to violate our constitutional rights as free people and citizens in the United States.

While we are discerning dark forces, it is important also the discernment if they have either confessed or repented of offending others. It is an essential and important principle not only in society but also in congregations of worship.

I think the God given idea of forgiveness allows society thru God powers to heal from turmoils and troubles and become a more peaceful and healthy society as a whole. If that concept and power of God is not supplied that eventual decay and collapse of society might be terrible for all to experience.

I know with the perpetrators from beyond the USA border and also Israel-Iran, Russia-Ukraine, China-Taiwan, North Korea-South Korea/Japan and other foreign turmoils and conflicts it might be easy to forget about our internal peace as a nation under God in the United States. Healing of the nation we live in together with our natives and immigrants, which I am one of as a European immigrant family, is important. And I think that comes from providing the same opportunities for each of us afforded to all men in the USA.

I know I posted about the peace and healing of our nation the USA. But I hope and pray that is also the desire of the United Nations representatives and organizations from their respective countries. That we all desire de-escalation and happiness for all people of the world we live in.

I hope we all join in prayer to our almighty and powerful God towards that direction for his people which are his children.

And if I remember correctly the establishment of the UN was to that desire, to protect and enforce world peace after WWI and WW2 after seeing the horrors and atrocities of war including nuclear conflict. chemical and biological terrors and such.

I know right now there are slave possibly tortured person from Israel and Ukraine held captive in areas and perhaps even on the other side. We saw that in older wars in all eras including Vietnam. I also hope and pray for their peace and return to their respective homelands that they might again have happiness with their enjoyed cultures and families, friends.

I like prayer in that area as well.

Thank you.

I testify that I love God the Father, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost and God showed me I loved them. He also showed me Heavenly Mother and God's Angels. And I found I loved them also. I hope and await a hopeful future that one day we can all join them in heaven for a wonderful future. Until then I hope for God's will on earth. And that brings me happiness today.

Jesus said to forgive others "from the heart".

That got my attention.

In order to do this, each time someone Im mad at pops up in my mind, I have to mentally pardon them repeatedly for a time. It often gets easier if I pray for them.

I think we might be past that? And all the way up to, pray for the Lord to mitigate the damage to His people as a nation who's sins are many.

If you think about it, the Lord is bringing judgment on the US and also preparing the earth for when He comes and makes all things new again. But what is the first step in a remodel process? The demolition of the old!

I think tha danger is in that many innocent people will die in their sins and be forever lost. So my prayers have gravitated to, Lord have mercy on us, and mitigate the casualties that these people who do not know you, may be saved.

For these things must come to pass in preperation for the Lord making all things new again. Our country is going to get hit hard. Entire cities gone prolly.

No forgiveness is about you and what going on in you not the other person.Everyone wants to think they are doing it for the other person but your not.Its about healing yourself getting rid of the resentments and anger the black poison that's in you it the only way to heal yourself. If you think its for the other person you have done nothing. You need to look inwards that's where the damage is.

Hello @Wynona and great to see you!

I do forgiveness a little different as directed from God:

When offended first pray to God regarding the matter, which should be done daily in the morning as a standard prayer. If already prayed then keep God in mind as you consider the offense and how to deal with it.

Steps:

1) If someone has offended me the first thing to do is determine what amount of fault was mine in the offense.

2) And second find a solution for the grievance.

3) Take measure to enact that solution if that is possible.

4) If not solution can be found take the matter up to God and forgive but also remember the offense so that we are not subjected to repeated offenses from an offender unnecessarily.

He also showed me Heavenly Mother and God's Angels.
This is not biblical. We are to Worship God, to pray to him and to no others.
Jesus said to forgive others "from the hear
It's often forgotten that forgiveness always starts with repentance.

The quote, to forgive from one's heart comes from Matt 18:21-35 the unjust servant.

Note how when called to account and unable to pay, the servant pleads for mercy. He repents.
He is forgiven, yet he goes and de ands payment fro another servant.
This also pleads for mercy, repenting g of wrong doing, but is not shown mercy.

Like Jesus and Stephen when facing unrepentant opposes, we hand the issue over to God for him to deal with.
