Yep! It's real money maker, though! People are flocking to see these, regardless of how inaccurate they are. I've known a number of people who have thought the chosen stories were the real stories, though they were greatly changed.

I've heard that a lot of unbelievers watch these. There are so many false impressions in this series- not wise at all!
I was told that Mr. Jenkins is the son of the huge money maker, Left Behind series. $$ Not surprising. Like father like son.
Ephesians 5:4 comes to mind with this latest display. If Jenkins had that thought, then he should have put it away.
Instead, he finds it humorous?

I've watched an excerpt ofThe Chosen in a short clip YT. The one where Jesus chastises the Pharisees after healing a man.
That was well done.

There's nothing about The Chosen that has ever led me to watch it in full.

I think we need to recall that the show is an LDS project. Which would explain this abysmal liberty they're taking with the characters.

I'm expecting to hear of a like project,taking liberties with scripture, evolving out of the, He Gets Us, commercials and their Jesus project promotions that are out now.

The commercials aren't as prevalent as they were but they do pop up now and then.
