As an outsider you might be right, the FBI could be corrupt, and everyone is out to get Trump as their enemy.
The point about a judicial system and investigation branch is for them to be neutral and to judge things by the law.

Is it a crime to search someones property to see if there is evidence of a crime? Not if there is sufficient grounds to suspect this
is true.

I watched a film about the New York police who 75% had been bought by drug lords. It took a small group of police with
integrity to prove this had happened and expose them, and bring in a legitimate force.

So it can happen anywhere. Equally Trump could corrupt the system and place loyal people to his whim wherever he could
and break the law.

So do we want a biased system or one that is just? And investigations that show up criminal activity even in people we like,
is this a good or a bad thing? As followers of Jesus and justice, Jesus would call us to uphold a just system.

The Presidential Records Act has no criminal element involved in the statute. In other words, no search warrant is feasible and no criminal referral cause. Remember, this is an FBI that falsified FISA Warrants and attacked the future President of the United States based on fiction. That's not saying that the Trump team did no wrong ....But the law is perfectly clear. The only thing that can imagined is that highly classified material may have been in the boxes. The question becomes ....if there was an informant involved, is there a reason for this, or does the FBI get egg on it's face one more time? Informants lie all the time. This time, the public will see the affidavit and eventually someone will have to answer the accusation made.

Garland has nothing else to go on other than what is presented before the court. Just as the FISA mess, it's possible to con the court and start this action. If this is the case .... the persons involved in the fraud must be taken into court to answer for their actions. That didn't take place in the FISA case. No one was indicted for the false presentation before the courts.

Remember there was a FBI Director found guilty of lying and he had his retirement and everything reinstated. I don't feel that the ground troops of the FBI are criminal ......the criminal element is in the upper floors ... This is why the population has lost confidence in the FBI. They were allowed to walk free after the FISA episode.

It's perfectly OK for a politician to say one thing on Monday and another on Friday. Don't get hung up on ideology dictating how one is supposed to think.

In other words .....what was conceived to be a point is useless when following the instructions of your council in a meaningless travesty that is the NYC District Attorney. Make them prove the reason for their case. Don't give them ammunition. The NYC State Attorney will get mopped by the banks and appraisers in discovery. It's very difficult to prove, much less explain value to a jury. They are as much in the dark as the prosecutor trying to present his/her case. In the end even if by the won .....Donald Trump will not go to jail Wishful thinking.
