Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

My daughter's tattoo was for her own benefit, a reminder of something God made known to her in her heart.
The thing is, we shouldn't need a tattoo or even a T-shirt to let others know we are followers of Christ.

My daughter is beautiful. No tattoo can enhance or make her more beautiful...or improve on the beauty of God.
Speaking of little tattoos on the wrist or elsewhere...
Very often, the cult will mark their programmed slaves with a little butterfly tattoo....or some other. For a long time, a butterfly tattoo marked non-bloodline sex slaves born under the monarch mind control program. (Those who are bloodline do not get tattooed, as they are not to be marred ...even torture scars will be well hidden to the naked eye on bloodline programmed persons.)
@TLHKAJ This is indeed true. They are not necessary in the sense that you describe.
At the same time, being willing to receive a tattoo can prove to be a very effective means of bringing faith issues into conversation with ppl; they do indeed work effectively as a tool for this purpose; and more generally speaking it has become very mainstreamed now for ppl to do it, (especially for women).
I guess your really good header verses containing the words 'Let your light so shine before men' would be a description of why so many Christians do get inked up with Scripture/faith based tattoo designs.
I take your point also about your daughter's own motivations for using the tattoo parlor; I guess she explained them to you in full (whether or not she also invited you to accompany her to the parlor to watch it being done...)

At the same time, someone who served me at a coffee shop earlier this week happened to have butterfly tattoos near that placement and I'm sure that they had nothing to do with that sinister purpose which you mentioned.

She wouldn't have brought me, because she knows I don't enjoy seeing my children hurt. And two other factors ....I am hours away and had her younger siblings still at home.
I honestly do not believe getting a tattoo is one of those "good works" Jesus was referring to. lol
How would you know if they were/are programmed? MK uses programmed DID to make/keep it undetectable. You would have to have knowledge and discernment to be able to see it.
I have seen it ...and most of the time, it is on programmed MK (monarch) victims. I can fathom the idea that someone may see a programmed person's little butterfly tattoo and think it's cute and decide to get one. But this is sad ...that people may mimic things they have no idea the root of.
It isn't something you would know as a layperson just by an acquaintance. If you had the necessary understanding, and a heart to minister to SRA/MK victims...you would be sensitive to the Lord's revealing and discernment regarding that.

As regards pain, though, I'm sure you wouldn't object to girls getting single/double piercings in their earlobes, which can also involve a bit of pain but they (bravely?) deem it to be well worth it...
Maybe unlike earrings, a faith based design might also have some witness opportunity attached to it...
Earrings actually can have faith-based designs. But they also do not cover a huge portion of the skin like tattoos often do. But as I've said before ...a small tattoo doesn't bother me so much (altho I would not encourage them) ...and a normal ear piercing or two doesn't bother me ...but both can be taken to an excess. Multiple ear piercings can be a detraction of one's natural beauty, the same as a huge tattoo. Those guage type earrings are horribly so ...it's sad to see people do things like that to their bodies because they feel they aren't good enough the way they are.
I would rather put it on a T-shirt or on my wall. But I wouldn't condemn someone who had that tattoo. Again, someone shouldn't need a tattoo for others to know where our faith is. It should be that they sense Holy Spirit walking with us and are compelled to ask us where our hope comes from.@TLHKAJ PS: I saw this and thought of your recent quote: :)

According to the verse below, it is a thing of the heart ...if we sanctify the Lord God in our hearts, others will sense we walk with God whether we have a tattoo, a T-shirt, or any other outward sign that we are a believer. They will know.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” — 1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)
@TLHKAJ Yes, I would generally agree with a lot of what you say; and this is a great verse you quoted. I can imagine also that the person who had this tattoo done would maybe have thought that the pain would have been well worth it for the subsequent witness conversations that would likely materialize. Though yes, one's life as led by the Spirit, according to the Word, is the deepest sort of testimony.

Those aren't too attractive, lol ....I would get crosses or the name of Jesus ...in fact, for my daughter's wedding, I had a simple gold wire bracelet with "Jesus" written in it. It was a lot like this one, but with "Jesus" instead of "Nicole." Idk why I can't find a photo of a "Jesus" bracelet with a search for "faith based gold wire bracelet." lol
I also would wear something like this ...for my own benefit, not necessarily for others. They may not even see it.
I also wore a cross on a gold chain ...very dainty, lightweight.
It was along the lines of this...
