@Taken Well, yes, there may be all kinds of reasons and each person comes individually to being ready. For those who reach the age of 18, the weeks and months and years subsequent to the big 18 seem to mark huge numbers of potential tattooees soon becoming "ready".
All the young people with whom I have spoken with Bible verses tattooed seem to have them done for evangelistic reasons.
With all the physical activities people participate in perhaps Biblical tats are a newer way to reveal their godly adherence, rather than jewelry that becomes cumbersome or a “Hangup” during physical activities.
Me, I like jewelry, have nice pieces, more so for special occasions and to leave to kids and probably g-kids, but do not especially like to wear jewelry, gets in my way doing daily chores. You know I do not have tats, rather I elect to give away a ‘God Bless you”, to people I come in contact with.
