Ezekiel 37:25 KJV - 25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince for ever.

Here in Ezekiel above and in verses below, Israel is promised a future return to the promised land:

[Deuteronomy 30:3-5 KJV] 3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. 4 If [any] of thine be driven out unto the outmost [parts] of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

Exodus 32:13 KJV - Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit [it] for ever.

Jeremiah 25:5 KJV - They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:

Here below is the promised, prophetic Davidic kingdom on earth:

Isaiah 9:7 KJV - Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Luke 1:32-33 KJV - 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Christ will reign over the nations from Jerusalem:

Isaiah 2:2-3 KJV - 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, [that] the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

David will reign over Israel:

Ezekiel 37:24 KJV - And David my servant [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

Israel will reign with Christ on earth as kings and priests. The believing remnant of Israel was told they would be kings and priests not the church, the body of Christ. Israel will be a holy nation not the church, the body of Christ. Read Exodus 19:6 below carefully to see who will be priests and a holy nation; the children of Israel.

Revelation 5:10 KJV - And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Exodus 19:6 KJV - And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Jesus and the twelve preached the gospel of the kingdom to Israel about the Davidic kingdom on earth:

Matthew 9:35 KJV - And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Mark 1:14-15 KJV - 14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

In Ezekiel 37:25, Israel is promised a future return to the Promised Land:
“And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children forever: and my servant David shall be their prince forever.”
This promise reflects the future restoration of Israel to its land, a recurring theme in the Old Testament.

Other Scriptures also affirm this promise of Israel’s return to their land:

In Deuteronomy 30:3-5, God promises to gather Israel from all nations where they have been scattered and bring them back to the land:
“That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.”

In Exodus 32:13, God reminds Himself of the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, pledging to multiply their descendants and give them the land forever:
“Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.”

Jeremiah 25:5 also reaffirms this promise, urging Israel to return to the land given to them and their ancestors:
“They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers forever and ever.”

The Davidic Kingdom is a major theme in these prophecies. The future kingdom of David is described as eternal and is tied to Jesus Christ's reign:

Isaiah 9:7 speaks of the increase of Christ’s government and peace, which will never end. He will sit on the throne of David and establish His kingdom with justice and righteousness:
“Of the increase of [his] government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

Luke 1:32-33 reaffirms this when the angel speaks of Jesus' future reign over the house of Jacob:
“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Isaiah 2:2-3 describes the exaltation of the mountain of the Lord's house in Jerusalem, where all nations will come to worship and learn from God:
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.”

Ezekiel 37:24 also speaks of David’s future reign over Israel in the promised kingdom:
“And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.”

Revelation 5:10 tells us that believers, the saints, will reign with Christ on earth, but it is important to recognize that this promise refers specifically to the remnant of Israel, not the church, the body of Christ. The church is distinct from the kingdom promises made to Israel.

Exodus 19:6 clearly identifies Israel as a “kingdom of priests” and a “holy nation”:
“And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.”
This promise applies to the descendants of Israel, not to the church. Israel, in the future, will be a nation of priests and will fulfill God's kingdom promises on earth.

Jesus and His disciples preached about the gospel of the kingdom, focusing on the coming Davidic kingdom on earth. Jesus Himself preached this message:

In Matthew 9:35, Jesus went about teaching in the synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom:
“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”

In Mark 1:14-15, Jesus declared that the kingdom of God was near, urging the people to repent and believe the gospel:
“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Clarifications and Adjustments:

The key distinction is made between the promises to Israel and the church. Israel is the one promised the Davidic kingdom and the role of kings and priests on earth, whereas the church is distinct and does not inherit these promises.

Revelation 5:10 was referenced in relation to reigning with Christ, but it's important to emphasize that the reign of Christ is tied specifically to Israel's role as kings and priests, with the church playing a different role in God's overall plan.

The biblical distinction between Israel and the church should be clearly understood when interpreting these promises. Israel’s promises, such as the kingdom and priesthood, are separate from the church’s role in the New Covenant.
