(An individual who claims exemption over their ability for personal introspection) By using an external target as a reference point to negate critically examining their own actions, they carry on with whatever suits them and disregard any impact their behaviour has on anything external. Basically these individuals have a serious problem with judging themselves, no matter what position they hold in society.

Our brain has many functions for navigating the world around us. Self analysis (Introspection) of one's own thoughts, feelings and actions is a necessary function. But what if people decide not to exercise certain functions of their brain? Well we know already what happens if we don't exercise our motor function, or if we don't exercise our memory function, or our function for logic. Even our imagination needs to be exercised. What happens when people leave their own imagination on a shelf?

You know we won't function correctly.

It will even effect your best understanding of theology and faith if you lack the capability for introspection. Probably the reason why there is so much contention amongst Christian's. Probably the reason why most Christian's refuse to change faulty doctrine. You'd need a well exercised introspection of what you have accepted.
