Just another pawn in God's master plan. Why does this man always brag about how much money he has?

I hope another GOP candidate wins the primaries. Most of all I hope the republican party doesn't railroad him into running as an independent.

It's always the same with him. He makes the headlines every day before election, brags about his money and then drops out of the race, and we don't hear from him again for another four years. The man's a quack.

Trumps' support among Evangelicals astounds me, and I am sorry but it's a disparaging critique on many who would call themselves Christians. Trump's quite dismissive of faith in general, both in his past remarks and with remarks made around the time of his John McCain brou-ha-ha about communion. The latter were totally ignored:

He's also on record...and partially contradicting the above video...in stating that he didn't/doesn't feel the need to worry about repentance because he fundamentally always does the right thing. (Google it.)

Rand Paul was my great hope in this field, but he'll go down with the rather damaging indictments of his former staffers/Super PAC head. He's also tacked his positions to be more in line with the larger Republican party instead of being the 1/17 candidate who had some different ideas that were maybe a little more reasonable than his father. My last hope is Kasich who is already being branded because he took Medicare funds, but he seems one of the few actually capable of leading.

It's not much better on the Democratic side, either.

Trump isn’t there to win any elections, he’s there to mix the pot, say a few politically incorrect things that might need be said, so on and so forth. He needs to be president like he needs a hole in the head. He’s not an idiot by any stretch of the imagination, and his empire proves it. If you notice media loves controversy and will feed that fire as much as possible to get more copy, but with Trump it dies off, until he makes some other remark the might tic someone off. If someone like Mc Cain would make such remarks they’d hang him high, and Mc Cain wouldn't have a chance.

As far as the other side of the coin, the wicked witch of the west still seems to be exercising her attitude of entitlement to the nomination of her party. She didn’t do squat when she was senator, and screwed up as a secretary to the president. Strangely enough, she has the insurance industry to back her. I always thought the republicans had the corporate community interests in mind. But maybe the corporate’s see insurance like its legal extortion, and hate it like they hate taxes.
