I have a black "outside yard dog" ..... in winter he likes to lay in the snow in direct sunshine on cold days .... the solar heat warms his black fur.

Sometimes I look outside and three or four cats will climb on top of him and warm up too.

The dog puts up with the cats just fine ..... until the cats start digging their claws into his fur like it was a carpet or something. :)

He shrugs them off .... but when he falls asleep again ... the cats all pile back on ..... neatest thing to watch.
