I have been coming across a certain line of thought, in which, it is said that there was only one gospel, but refined to accommodate the understanding of Gentiles etc.
This is subtle erosion of the fact that there is more than one gospel as it particularly pertains to the gospels preached by Peter and Paul.
The gospels preached by Peter and Paul are clearly understood in scripture.
To make the entirely different gospel message of Paul the same as Peter could not be construed as refining them for Gentiles, but rather, a subtle means of making them the same when they are not. It would result in saying although they read differently, they really mean the same.

Newbies, Jesus must be your teacher.

There is only one gospel. Hear him preaching the gospel of God / the gospel of the kingdom / the gospel of grace.

There is only one kingdom and it is for everyone who sees and hears Jesus preaching, understands his preaching, and repents. Those who do that are forgiven.

“Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell - and its fall was great.”

(Matthew 7:24-27, WEB)

Hearing the words of the Messiah is fundamental, newbies. It isn’t optional, it’s essential. Build on the solid rock of his words.

“It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life. … Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

(John 6:63,68, WEB)

Newbies, don’t shut yourselves off from hearing the words of Jesus. His words are life, eternal life, the life of the coming age.

The word of the kingdom (Matthew 12:19), the word (Mark 4:14), the word of God (Luke 8:21) is the gospel of God that Jesus preached (Mark 1:14-15).

It isn’t God, it isn’t the Messiah, it isn’t the apostles who want us not to hear Jesus preaching. They are for us. They want us to be saved and have the life of the coming age. They want us to live.

It’s the devil and the demons who don’t want us to hear Jesus preaching. They are against us. They don’t want us to be saved and have the life of the age to come. They want us to die.

“So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?”

(Hebrews 2:3, NLT)

Newbies, it’s imperative that we all hear Jesus speak, teach, preach.

Muting Jesus is a pathway that leads to destruction.
