Any doctrine which leads people to hate other people should be avoided. That is all I am saying. Thank you for posting ElieG12.
Is this coming from a place of personal experience? I ask because many have expressed frustration with your inability to logically and coherently follow Scripture.

I suffer from hatred. One of the first times I went through scriptures themselves it lead me to look towards people in hatred, and downplay them. I would look at others and think just as Jesus stated here in this parable.

“The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus burns down the hatred in my flesh of what I once was after years of getting to know him better.

I use to think “I’m better than all these people, I read my Bible, I pray, they aren’t like me.” In the end, my mind finally started to change once I realized what Yeshua truly did, for us all.

God loves all people no matter where they may be at in our own lives, he desires for us to communicate and speak to him what’s on our hearts, no matter how bad it may be, he can handle it, he can help us walk by the spirit.

I continue to suffer from weakness in my flesh but Yeshua in his strength continues to help me. Truly thankful for all he has done for the world and for his Father.

Thank you for the question, F2F.

I suffer from hatred. ...
I feel sorry for you. Maybe you should look for better company.

In any case, the hatred that exists in the world will soon end. To suffer hatred for being a Christian is the sweetest hatred one can suffer. :gd

Don’t feel sorry for me. And I don’t believe hatred will ever end except in Jesus. He gets us through by his strength.

Paul prayed three times.

He wrote in his second letter to the Corinthians:

“Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

You have said too many times that you suffer from hatred, so the least I can say after reading you repeat it so much is sorrow.

Perhaps you feel so distressed because you do not believe that the hatred in the world will end. But that is a promise from God, not mine:

Psa. 37:10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;
You will look at where they were,
And they will not be there.
11 But the meek will possess the earth,
And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Maybe you are now just a little down, but tomorrow will be a better day.
I wish you
a wonderful weekend.

Hey thanks EliG12, I just like to be authentic. I don’t know how you may believe but I believe we live in the new heavens and earth already.

I’m not afraid of myself, nor a danger to myself or anyone around me. I’m not seeking for help or advice from anyone.

I’m just speaking of anyone who is out there that teaches doctrines that lead to hating others, should be avoided.

Thank you, and you have a good rest of your weekend too.

It’s important that anyone who teaches doctrines that lead to hating others, those doctrines need to be reassessed, because God loves everyone, he has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. He desires for all to come to him, and I believe he even calls to people in the afterlife.

God is love. And he loves everyone. Doctrine is not love, it’s just teachings. There is good and bad doctrine out there, no matter what anyone else may say.

Doctrine matters but it is dead without love. The heart of Christianity is about love. And God wants us to love each other more than anything else in the world. A child with some wrong doctrine and right love is better than a child with right doctrine but lack love.

You might be "authentically" off track-naturally, you don't need guidance when you consider yourself your own ultimate authority.

Occurrences of "Doctrine" and "Doctrines" in the Old Testament (Septuagint)
The terms are often rendered from Hebrew words such as לֶקַח (leqach, meaning instruction) or מִשְׁנָה (mishnah, repetition or teaching).

"Doctrine" in the LXX:

Deuteronomy 32:2 (διδαχή – "teaching" or "doctrine")
Job 11:4 (διδασκαλία – "teaching")
Proverbs 4:2 (δίδαγμα – "doctrine" or "teaching")

"Doctrines" in the LXX:

The plural form is less common in the Old Testament, as most references are to singular teaching or instruction.

2. Occurrences of "Doctrine" and "Doctrines" in the New Testament (Textus Receptus)

The terms translate the Greek words διδαχή (didachē, teaching), διδασκαλία (didaskalia, instruction), or related derivatives.

"Doctrine" (Singular) appears 16 times in the KJV:

Key verses include Matthew 7:28, Mark 1:22, John 7:16, Acts 2:42, Romans 6:17, 1 Timothy 4:6, and 2 Timothy 3:16.
"Doctrines" (Plural) appears 5 times in the KJV:

Notable examples include Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7, Colossians 2:22, 1 Timothy 4:1, and Hebrews 13:9.

3. Total Count in the KJV Translation
"Doctrine" (Singular): 20 times across both Testaments.
"Doctrines" (Plural): 5 times in the New Testament.
Combined total: 25 occurrences.

4. Theological Significance
The term "doctrine" in Scripture generally refers to authoritative teaching from God, contrasted with "doctrines of men" or "doctrines of demons" (e.g., Matthew 15:9; 1 Timothy 4:1). It emphasizes both sound, God-given teaching and the danger of false doctrines that lead astray.

Doctrines are essential, and they go beyond simply loving those who love you.

Thanks for sharing CG33.

It reminds of what James wrote.

“What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬-‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I equate good works as Love which comes by and through by the spirit of Christ in us, it’s not compulsory it’s when the spirit moves people.

Thank you for commenting Ronald.

I see that Yahavhas Righteousness if founded upon looking on his son.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

We will be judged according to how we much we allowed God to work in and through us, and help us by the strength of Christ.

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Paul wrote:
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

I dont know if people realize there are rewards which will be forwarded unto us in the afterlife, for allowing God to work with us in our lives, and looking to his Son whom makes us right with God. His death, burial, and resurrection are important. Jesus has overcome all things death, hell, satan, the law, and has established remaking this world new again spiritually. What people believe is up to them, but let them not stop looking to the one whom did what we could never do, and allow him to help us along in this life.

And I’ll be frank, all of us are a work in progress. We will be sinful until we die, the thing is the deification of our flesh starts when we look to God and his ways and wills.

King David sent a man to his death to just have his wife. Though David was proclaimed a man after Gods own heart.

I’m not saying it’s a great thing to continue in practicing sin, it is a great thing to let God work in and through in your life. Looking to the Son whom overcame all things. I still struggle, every day, but my faith and trust is in God.

The other day while riding my bike, I was just inches away from getting hurt due a persons either evil inside of them in want to scare me, or their ignorance in looking at their phone. Either way, I thank God that it wasn’t more than it was, a near call to being hurt, or death one of the two.

My body hurts it’s weak, and there some things wrong with it but I deserve everything I’ve done too it. No one in this life is perfect, anyone trying to make that so, is lying to you if they say you can make your flesh perfect.

You’ll never achieve what Jesus, had done, however when we come to him, and accept his resurrection and that he did pay for our sins, your mind starts to consider the things of God and you can receive help to make the flesh lesser than, and the spirit within you allowing God to work with you in this life you will start to die to the things of the flesh and mortify them and in and through Christ comes from the spirit of Christ within you which achieves what God does desire for us.

To love our enemies, to pray for those who may not like you and even hate you, it’s not some easy walk, if it Jesus would have said it’s an easy road but he never did. So people continue to look and keep faith looking to the Son who overcame all things because he will help you in your life. As long as you are a willingly so to let God work with you, and you love him, he will continue to give you comfort even in your failures because all people do; except the resurrected begotten Son, Jesus the Messiah.

out in the woods
2 Jn 1:9-10
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed
:

A few points:
---not having Christ's doctrine is transgression and sin-transgression (1 Jn 3:4) is what separates one from God thereby leaving one lost.
---Christ's doctrine is absolute truth, it is not full of lying contradictions man made denominationalism makes it out to be.
---having false doctrine is the same as not having Christ's doctrine hence the false teacher does not have God.
---those that bring false doctrine are not to be received.
---the present tense of 'abideth' shows one must be in and remain in the doctrine of Christ
---salvation is impossible apart from having and remaining in the doctrine of Christ
---following doctrine is nowhere in the Bible called "legalism". Some people hate doctrine for doctrine stands in the way of man wanting to live as he pleases, doctrine does not allow for feelings. opinions or emotions to dictate a person's belief, doctrine does not allow for denominationalism.
---Paul admonished Christians to "walk by the same rule".... rule here referring to a standard of measure as Christ's doctrine.
---Jesus said if ye love me keep my commandments..keep His teachings..keep His doctrine else one does not love Christ, does not have God. Love is equated to keeping Christ's commands/doctrine

Doctrine matters a great deal- just as love does!
What you quote is from the horrible KJV translation. Better translations don't use the word doctrine but law or teaching.

Other than accept Jesus as your lord, love is the limit of proper doctrine. (Beyond that humans have to complicate the hell out of divinely simple doctrine.) Best to categorize all else as philosophizing.

For instance, I am a Biblical unitarian and a Christian nationalist. Others deny there is such a thing.
