Difficulty Reconciling

I'm not going to discuss other things than John's Gospel--there're other threads (even many I myself started) where that can be done.

Darn, and I was going to cite James, which I think is relevant:

I was wrangling with trying to understand these things for so long, then, yesterday, I had a thought that I should love God (even though it is "a work of the Law", in a sense), and, then, I felt God's love, and a supernatural peace--and it made sense that we would do, easily, what this "love" would want us to do, because it is in us, and we are in it--but it didn't last, and I have anguish now. How do I keep that love and peace?

First man does not live by emotions
but by every word o GOD by the power of HIS Spirit .
Just start afresh and anew in the scriptures and be reading them daily and be in prayer
Having all hope in the GLORIOUS LORD . He is our hope and our salvation .
But beware of men for far too many decievers now abound and they will twist scrips .
Just simply read it for yourself . And you can even read it with others . read the whole letters and enjoy them .

I don't really. Others have weighed in, I don’t see a contradiction at all. James wrote first and clearly defines faith as living, precisely because it results in action. Paul assumes that same definition of faith, but he’s addressing a different issue—specifically, the “works of the Law” and how much of the Jewish law applies to Gentiles, who knew nothing of it and were being pressured by Judaizers.

They’re not opposing each other. None of the three—James, Paul, or John—ever define faith as mere belief unless you strip their words out of context.

Yes! I point this out all the time; Saint James and Saint Paul agreed on Christian Works...

The OP wants to box you into; the box of the 'Gospel of John Alone'. Ask if you can use John’s Epistles, and if you are told No; ask why not? If you are told Yes, ask why you can't use All Scripture? You are being toyed with. It's a, '2 Timothy 3:6 weak women might be caught' kind of thing. If they're moved to accept a works righteousness because of this Box, what do you think about that?

something similar happened to me also about last year, I had a vivid dream about me being anxious and nervous because the end times is so close now, I was sitting on a big rock in something looking like a desert and from afar I saw someone walking towards me. As the person got closer to me, I could feel and I really mean feel like a physical sensation Love coming from that person. To illustrate using something familiar, I could use a sensation of heat as you get closer to a fire, the closer you get the more heat you feel, as He came closer and closer the PHYSICAL sensation of Love got stronger and stronger and then, I recognize Jesus in front of me, He took my hand and explained to not worry that all these things about the end times must come to pass but all will be alright at the end.. I do not fully remember all His words but this dream was not a normal dream, it was sent by GOD.

GOD IS LOVE!
