I happened across this video and wondered if anything was ever done about burqas in Australia? It seems the lady politician has a good point. Terrorists could hide using burqas.

Did Australia ever ban the burpa?

Seeing we're such an easy going bunch, burping ......and farting is far from being banned......except by the uninitiated!

It's still being debated in Australia.

Here's a country chronology table related to countries that have banned the Burqa.

Visiting Florida years ago I happened on a court case that concerned the Burqa.

A Florida Muslim woman wanted the state to permit driving license photos for Muslim women in full Burqa.

And,not only that, to identify her if pulled over by police if she had to show her face in the license photo, she wanted Muslim women to be allowed a female officer to arrive at the traffic stop. Because only other women are allowed to see a Muslim woman without her Burqa.

This was the same year,2002, wherein it was reported 15 girls burned alive in a school in Mecca Saudi Arabia.

The school had caught fire. Being an all female facility the girls were without their Burka's during class.

When the fire started they fled the flames unclad in the Burqa.
Their male family members who rushed to the scene surrounded the school exits and beat the girls back into the flaming school. Because it was a shame for their family if they were seen without the Burqa.

15 innocent little girls burned alive!

Religion of peace.

Yes. Little girls burning alive are a testimony to that one. Yep.

Western nations are going to regret receiving Muslim refugees.

The first story about the Florida Muslim lady is funny! How on earth can she expect anyone to identify her on photo ID clad in a burka!!! That's commonsense.

The second story about the poor, 15 Muslim girls beat back into a burning building by their families is heartbreaking. Even if someone is naked, in a fire you have to flee it.
