I have heard people waiting for the Lord to save them when they need to dig in and try to save themselves. If God is willing he will help. This is something I struggle with when talking to people that are slothful.

I do agree with that, but my point was that as soon as I stopped wearing a mask I picked up the cold……so on one level perhaps wearing a mask helped………..
I am done with any discussions about the vaccines , so fed up with people claiming ‘ I am blind’ ‘ serving Satan ‘ ‘ not in the know ect ………………just because I have had the jab does not mean I do not see an agenda or manipulation , I just see it in a slightly different way and how it’s being used. The FEAR is being promoted by many Christians childish tactics of BLAMING... SHAMING... BELITTLING... and FORCE FEEDING their information as though it is the ALMIGHTY TRUTH.

These covid debates have been on going here for over 18 months... Get the shot... or don't get the shot.... it's supposed to be a choice.
Some Christians are no better than the politicians in their plea to be RIGHT.

Don't tell me that many here CARE about me .... they care... but only about being heard and RIGHT.

Every "side" has an agenda except JESUS.

This is a time of repenting and getting our affairs in order... The only thing I care about is being right with JESUS... My daughter is coming to visit me in two days... I have not seen her in a year so this is a real treat... SHE is vaccinated... she chose to... she is young and in need of travelling for her work. There was NO issue... I REFUSED to breath any of this mess upon her. She belongs to Christ... she is in His care.... and I trust HIM.

Uh…I guess it’s how you look at it. Common cold is a coronavirus. Virulent, but not rabidly so in terms of harm to humans. So at some point, coronavirus (common cold) jumped to humans. But all other outbreaks have been last 2 decades and way more potentially deadly to us. Extremely suspicious. Once it jumped to humans “somehow” in China in 2002, it was going to mutate. I think that was a GOF lab escape too.

I am just going off what happened and what was known when this things first started a few years ago.

This is not a common cold or anything like it.

the common cold does not cause people to get pneumonia and need to be placed on a respirator because their lungs cannot produce enough oxygen.

Think of it this way. There is a virus that kills bats. But this virus does not affect humans

If this virus that kills bats could be altered so that it can not be stopped by the human defense system. The results of this virus infecting a human would be unknown. But it could cause the same fatal affects as it does the bat.

This actually happens all the time in research. Not to make a bio weapon, but as a research for medicine and other things. I am on the Ohio State university grounds often and my comany is contracted to work on their equipment, They have different levels of labs. One such lab (if it is still there) is so biohazard dangerous (they work on hazards for which their is no cure) that if anyone tries to bypass the perimeter fencing or security, Not only will the police be there in seconds the FBI will be there.

The fear is these things will get out. Steven king wrote a book about it (I believe it is called the stand) and there have been many movies and things made about this super virus or something that accidentally gets released into the world. and chaos and mass deaths occur because of it.

Rumor had it that one of the techs in Wuhan accidentally stuck himself with a needle. and was infected. Since in china this was an automatic death penalty, the guy ran, and entered the fish market. where he later died. His infection quickly spread to people in this market. and there was an outbreak of this "pneumonia virus" that no one could figure out what was causing it. And this virus eventually spread to the world.

Whether this is true or not. Something did happen in China, was it research for good or bad? Was it purposely released or as the rumor said, accidental?

We will probably never know the fact of how it was released. But we know what it was and where it came from, and are still today trying to counter act this thing.

While I believe the origional danger has passed and we are no longer in my view in pandemic mode. We still have an opportunity. To use this to research when this happens again how can we act more quickly and possibly stop the rapid expansion and number of deaths of the next as Jesus called it in matt 24 (pestilence - plague, pandemic, outbrake of disease) and we have seen the past few decades. all these different viruses (the bird flu, the swine flu, H1N1 etc etc) it is just going to get worse

I for one am happy I am in a country that spends money on research so that when these things do occur. we at least have some form of hope that we can survive them, and continue to spread the word of the gospel. and live our lives.

It is something we will never know. But i would tend to say considering the context. He would be in the middle.

Not only would he not force people to take something to help as our government and employers are trying to do. He would not tell people or encourage them not to do it.

Sorry sis, I hope you did not think I was trying to argue with you. I was just saying from what you said, it makes me wonder.

Did you get sick because the mask helped you. Or because your immunity was lowered? I do not think we will know. I think I read somewhere where the flu was not as bad last year. Could it be because masks helped?

It makes you wonder. although I still hate wearing the mask. I can hardly breath in them, I have enough issues..lol
