Christ Given to the Church as Head

In Genesis 15:7,18, "In the same day (the LORD) brought thee (Abram) out of Ur .. He made covenantA with Abram, saying, unto thy seed I have given this land." Abram was not yet 86 years old (16 verse16).

In Genesis 17:1,10,24,26, "When Abram was 90 years old .. the LORD appeared to Abram and said unto him .. This is my covenantB between Me and you and thy seed: Every man-child shall be circumcised." "Abram was 99 years old (and Ismael 13 years), when he (Ismael verse 25) was circumcised. In the selfsame BONE-day was Abraham circumcised."

(That makes it seem Abraham and Ismael were born on the same day of the year, and, were circumcised together on their mutual birthday.)

"Seed" and "man-child" imply that the LORD covenanted with Abraham AND with SARAH and promised the man and WIFE, both the temporary "land", and, the future (eternal and Divine), "Seed".

In Genesis 1:27 "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created He him "male AND FEMALE" .. the Sixth Day". "The vertebra which the LORD GOD had taken from man (male) made He a (female) woman AND brought (married, covenanted) her unto (Adam) the man.

In Genesis 18:1,10, 21:5 "The selfsame BONE-day" 18:24– three months later–, CovenantC–, “and AbraHAm (now) was an hundred years old when his son Isaac was born (according to God’s Promise TO SARAH) unto him” .. "Lo, the LORD said unto him (then Abram still), SARAH THY WIFE shall have a son. And Sarah laughed. But the LORD said, Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the appointed (covenanted, promised) time, I shall return unto thee according to the TIME OF LIFE" three months later!

The ‘Abrahamic Covenant’ clearer than anything shows God’s Covenant with the FAMILY-UNIT of “man” the “husband of ONE “wife” the “female” or only ‘spouse’, and children whoever’s, man and wife’s, man or wife’s, or adopted – covenanted in the fear of the LORD. “Is any thing too hard for the LORD?” Truly a covenant of grace!

God closed the ‘Abrahamic Covenant’ with the human family of Abraham.
The ‘Abrahamic Covenant’ clearer than anything shows God’s Covenant with the FAMILY-UNIT of “man” the “husband of ONE “wife” the “female” or only ‘spouse’ and children, whoever’s - man and wife’s, man or wife’s, or adopted – covenanted in the fear of the LORD.

God made covenant with Abraham on "That Day the SELFSAME-BONE-DAY".

Also on "That Day the SELFSAME-BONE-DAY", God made covenant with Noah and the family of Noah, the four families of Noah and his wife, and of their three sons Shem Ham and Japheth and their wives— "eight souls". 1Peter 3:20.
In the event of the Noah covenant, no blood-sacrifice to close the covenant with is found in Genesis. But 1Peter 3:18-20 states, "when once in .. the longsuffering of God .. Christ being put to death .. suffered .. that He might bring us to God", by which “also .. eight souls— that is, four FAMILIES— were saved".

Going back to when God created man and took a vertebra BONE of Adam and formed Eve out of it and declared, “VERY GOOD!”, “it was the Sixth Day”. God had made the FAMILY covenant, that selfsame day when in the beginning, Adam’s BONE was of the essence.

Go further, to the exodus out of Egypt, and there again “That Day Selfsame-BONE-Day” is found of the essence of the three days thick darkness of the passover of Yahweh, when in Israel the nation, each HOUSEHOLD had to “take out a lamb” for itself — on Family-Day!
