Hello everybody, happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there and welcome to the virtual Mother's Day luncheon. :) I will open up the virtual kitchen in a few moments, but it has been a tradition for the past few years to write something about my mom so I can go ahead and read it to her so I will go ahead and start off with a Bible verse this year and see how it can apply to us. :)
Proverbs 31:26 "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."
I thought that that was a perfect Bible verse for my mother because she has definitely always taught me right from wrong, and everybody that she comes in contact with absolutely loves her to death because she is very kind, patient, and understanding and spiritual person. For those of you who don't already know, she is also my adoptive mother so I find it very special that she chose me as God chose her to be my mother.
She also gives me a smile or a laugh or a hug when I really need one and always shows love to her family and friends in her own special way. (Since she isn't much of a touchy feely person like I am.) So, I'm wishing her the happiest Mother's Day ever and I'm about to give her a great big hug full of love to show her how much she means to me.
So with that all being said, I will now open up the virtual kitchen. :) There are virtual sandwiches, (I'll virtually make you whatever sandwich you want.
) tea, coffee, and cookies for whoever wants them and feel free to give dedications and share memories of your own mothers. These are my favorite Mother's Day songs and I do believe that @Mayflower had a song that she wanted to share with us as well. :)
(Btw, I apologize that it's a bit after noon but it took me awhile to make this.)
