Yeah ALL SCRIPTURE IS , but the gospel of thomas was not inspired of GOD . I read a wee bit of it
and out of great depression and anguish and disgust PUT IT DOWN real fast .
YET , yet the BIBLE , i can read it and just love and enjoy it .
Yep , my friend , GOD puts the love for the truth upon a lambs heart and its meat is the word and words of GOD .
they feast on them bibles and test all men who do speak , utter even a word , against what written in that bible .

I even tried to read the secondary books that some said were taken out of the bible .
AND i can see easily why they were . Lots of mans wisdom is within them . And as usual it comes blended in with Truths too .
At most it was simply men who through their own wisdom wrote such things .
No wonder . I did read on them books too . Never got edification , just emptiness . BUT
the BIBLE itself , ALWAYS EDIFIED . Just a friendly reminder to all .
Lets open them bibles afresh and anew and remain stirred up by those reminders , as well as in prayer
and being hearers and doers of the Word . Heeding the SPIRIT and not the flesh .

Instead of trusting in Christ and his Gospel they are trusting in their religion to save them. Jesus said, "Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, didn't we?" Matthew 7:21-23. They were trust in themselves and their worthless religion. What are they going to do when Jesus appears? They are going to run and hide from him.

The most devout Christians to ever live met grisly deaths at the hands of papal inquisitors = Scripture talks about them in Hebrews 11:36-40 KJV.

I am not sure what point you are trying to make in your response to @BreadOfLife!!!

By quoting a letter from Paul to his student Timothy are you trying to make a point that the 1st century Church DID have established Scripture? Do you believe the line, from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, is evidence of your theory?

Since that letter to Timothy was written around 67AD what was established Holy Scripture at that time? What was the Holy Scripture that Paul was referring too?

Notice how Paul said that "from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures". That means that Paul is referring to "Holy Scripture" from many, many years BEFORE he wrote that letter to Timothy. Is it possible that Paul was referring to what we now call the Old Testament as Holy Scripture? I mean after all, logically there was not NT Holy Scripture yet so Paul had to have meant OT Scripture. Right?

What Luther harbored was "righteous indignation" against them for murdering our Savior and for claiming in the Talmud that He is "boiling for eternity in excrement" - and for stealing away Christianity's sole claim to the title "Israel of God" - never has such indignation been more justified.
