All you seem to want to do on quite a few threads is argue, I’ve seen you do it also with a male member as well.
I'm not arguing at all. We simply do not agree and you have implied that I'm lying. Huge difference. The "male member" is an accuser who also calls me a liar because I agree with scripture rather than man's opinions. He uses my past as a sort of ammo to try to paint me as a lair or a hater of men. The opinions of others about me do not dictate truth. You will go back on ignore. I thought you changed.

I went by my vets advice, on what to feed my dogs, they are the professionals.not by an owners research....I only go by their advice.

I would like to witness with my own eyes what you say about your dog, not going by what you say...sorry.

I agree with what she says and know it to be true. My dog doesn't make a bunch of brown spots in the yard. He did at first but he was a rescue dog. Now he must have a different diet than they were feeding him.

When I was a kid and we lived on 168 acres we had seven dogs and our yard wasn't full of brown spots. I started reading about what all foods are bad for dogs and vet instructions and all that and had to laugh one day. How have dogs lived for 5500 years or more without vet specifications or commercial dog food? I bet the Hebrews in the OT had dogs. They lived. On what? People food. All you have to do is pay attention to them. You can tell if they ate something that didn't agree with them. Then not feed that to them anymore. My dog dont like onions so he dont get none. He does like meat and eggs and high protein food and all that.

I aint much of a chemist but someone said said something about nitrogen in dog pee? I had been given some very old gunpowder that was taken out of my friends grandpa's reloading room 10 years after he died! So quite a bit of it is was bad How did I dispose of this old gunpowder? i put it underneath my strugglimg rose bushes and left the sprinkler on it so it would soak into the ground real good. Gunpowder is very high in Nitrogen, and plants love nitrogen! And in spring when those rose bushes started blooming again, they came back in so much thicker and healthy! And not only that, they were red roses at first but when they bloomed this years it had many new blooms and many of them were pink! So suddenly I had pink and red roses! So Nitrogen might just play with colors as she was suggesting. I saw it with my own eyes.

So there is truth to what she said in her post above. I don't think God told Adam, don't feed him onions and feed your new dog nitrogen and protein. Adam just watched his dogs and payed attention. Lol. That's the good thing about dogs, they will eat what's left over from dinner, or if I drop some food on the floor. That's convenient!

Like I said...seeing is believing..I’ve had many dogs , they killed many plants, grass, with their urine, would I get upset if you said you don’t believe me, of course not.,,,don’t take my word for it..if I went to the police and told them my story, they would want evidence, do you understand what that means?
Would that mean they are accusing me of lying, NO!!...they quite rightly want evidence to believe my story.

Your truth is your truth..it ain’t mine...therefore I would have to spend time with your dog and witness it for myself..I won’t take your word for it..,how that makes me calling you a liar, is baffling to me...

seriously ……….does this really have to turn into an argument. Just because one experience is not the same as another it does not mean that both experiences are not truth.

This is suppose to be a lighthearted thread, well let some things go over your heads

@MA2444 the nitrogen thing is the exact reason I have encouraged my little guy to pee on my most ailing plants. I planted 4 new gardenias last spring and 2 died ...one is doing great, and one is struggling. After I noticed the day lily was doing so well as opposed to the one my doggy neglected, I decided to take him straight to my sick gardenia when I take him out to pee. And it is so much greener toward the front than at the back. I hope it carries and lives through the winter. But it has a boost that it wouldn't have had otherwise. I had 3 huge beautiful 10ft gardenia "bushes" that were here when we bought the house and they were killed by 2 consecutive years in the deep freeze we don't normally get here. A third one is trying to sprout back up and I hope it survives. Those things were almost like little trees and beautiful! I love gardenias.

About nitrogen ....I have chickens and am taking the deep litter from their coops to compost and hoping that helps my spring garden....idk if the nitrogen content is different after composted...? I need to do more research.

Truth in some situations need to be proved.that was my point.

Nothing wrong in saying I would like to witness the peeing of some dogs ,that makes some stuff in the garden grow ..why would I take another’s word for it.without being there?

I voiced my opinion, or is yours the only one that stands and is correct?

If a cat or kitten turned up on my door or even found a stray on the street, I would first take it to the vets, then would wait for their advice, wether I could adopt it or not.

I have only found one stray dog in my life, I caught it and took it straight to the vet, it was at risk of getting run over, unfortunately I had 2 dogs at the time, plus it was a big dog , it would have been far to big to keep in my tiny house.

I knew that plants like nitrogen but I didnt know that dogs do too. I knew that there was a high nitrogen content in the bad gunpowder, but I don't have a clue what I feed him that has nitrogen in it! I guess I just got lucky because I've seen lots of people who had the brown spotted yard and I never did that I can remember. I always have tried to keep the dogs out of the garden. Maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention to wonder why some get brown spots and some people dont. Well, some dogs dont.

Me and my brothers found a stray dog one time and kept it. Some kind of mongrel dog, who knows what kinds it was?! He was only medium in stature but he turned out to be the most bad a**ed dog that we had! Man could that dog fight! We had lots of bigger dogs and he would take any of of them on in a heartbeat! I seen him catch and kill a fat groundhog one day. That was awesome, he wouldn't let go of it's throat and stayed on it until it was dead. Groundhogs can be pretty vicious if you ever been up close to a pissed off one!

My son lives near a rescue centre , where there are dogs, cats, I may visit after Christmas with him..you must be careful though, because as you say, you never know the history of these animals ,poor things, it’s not their fault...

He fit in with the pack fine. This was back in the olden days when you could still feed dogs food, lol. (1970's) we had seven dogs and like 11 cats? Several were feral strays. We had two St. Bernard's (Cheech & Chong), two Huskies, a Malamute, a setter and Sam, the mongrel. I always figured, a dog is a dog and sometimes they live and sometimes they die.. I know vets have medicine to help and I have taken quite a few dogs to the vet, but nowadays they want to act like he needs yearly check ups and al that just like a human! And that's BS if you ask me. I can tell if the dog is sick and it's upset stomach sick or I need a doggie doctor sick!

Besides, think about it. Animals go to heaven too. At least pets do. So if they die they better off than being here. I have to wait until the Lord sends choppers for my evac in the rapture.

It prolly wouldn't be Choppers but how about Flaming Chariots? Would you like to ride to Heaven in a flaming chariot at the rapture? That would be classy! I'd love that.

It's important to get a stray cat or dog a flea bath before bringing them in the house. Or at least apply the flea ointment to kill them within 24 hours.

With Miss Kitty, I paid my animal rescue friend to bathe her...rather than paying the vets.

Miss Kitty was indoor only, so no problem with fleas after her bath. But nowadays it's easier with those flea ointments that you apply between their shoulders....and it lasts a month which is great!!!

In the old days those flea collars didn't work well.

Onions are toxic, poisonous to dogs and cats. Good thing he wouldn't eat them. Also, chocolates.

Well the chocolate thing that it will kill dogs is the baking chocolate, not the mild milk chocolate like in candy bars and chocolate chips! So I've shared some chocolate chips with him but he dont get none of my Brownies that I make!

I freaked out the day (back in 2012) when my daughter's 2.5lb mini dachshund found my stash of peanut M&M's and ate about a pound of them!! She never skipped a beat ...literally! She was a bouncy girl ....sweetest thing, a snuggler. I was relieved she didn't keel over, but wow .. where'd she put it all?!! Lol

That was before my keto, and carnivore days ....no danger of that happening now! lol

My little Pom-chih did eat all my grilled chicken one day though ...that was more irritating than anything! lol
He can out away a half pound of grass fed hamburger in one sitting if I let him.

That's good to know. I only gave Max 3 chocolate chips one at a time, lol. Except when he gets an oatmeal choc chip cookie then it's more, but he sure liked the taste.
