I haven't found the term "righteous mammon" in the Bible.

We are in the world but not of the world when earthly things don't take pride of place in our lives. We can conduct business with non-believers and use things produced by non-Christians, but we shouldn't be yoked to them in ways that divert us from following Christ.

I tend to think of mammon as being the financial world's alternative to God.

Believers who work in legal businesses on an upper position of leadership and collect their sallary at the end of the month. And likewise they too have a tendcy to acquire mammon, like properties, cars, etc. whether they are on loans. Can we not consider them all come from for a family abiding by the lawful system, as 'righteous mammon' ?

Now another category of believers he also mentions, ones who do not work, being a busybody and dependent on the church for hand outs.

Apparently, what Paul was saying about them, is that they will not receive a hand out from the church if they are not going to work (2Thessalonians3:10-15). On the other hand not to generalize, there are also the poor who are unable to work. Even, orphans and widows alike, where the church should be the provider of their needs, especially believers' than unbelievers'.

As for Apostle John further, receiving hands out from unbelievers for the works of the church as to the Kingdom of GOD, is strictly prohibited (3John:verse 5-8).

i believe, we're almost clear about the saying of Jesus to His disciples, for instants using one's unrighteous mammon for the determination of one's eternal homes.

In the book of Acts, we do witness wealthy people contributed in the presence of Apostle Peter.

They either sold piece or half of their property and brought their money to Peter.

But only one couple failed, as lesson to us, money that we've decided to give to the church in offering.

We must not change our minds to hold back some and give some instead.

'Unrighteous mammon' can be gained also in a legal business way of the modern world.

They are not like in the old days, where you trade from one item for another.
