Matthew 24:45-51There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Yet again, you illustrate that you don't have a clue as to what Christ's Church is.
It's not a gaggle of millions of disobedient Lone Ranger, pseudo-believers like yourself - nor is it tens of thousands of perpetually-splintering sects all teaching different doctrines. And it certainly isn't YOUR cult (aggressivechristianity.net) that was established in 1979.
He only built ONE Church - and you're outside of it . . .
Thank you for that completely irrelevant verse that has nothing to do with our conversation. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Once again you make it official.Thank you for that completely irrelevant verse that has nothing to do with our conversation.
A little advice: Don't quote Scripture until you learn what it means.
Is "sand" rock or Rock? ... Anyway...not the one built on the sand, but the other One.Ummmm, which Church is that in history?
If you're going to claim that the Catholic Church isn't it - then which church was it?
Another non answer. Is "sand" rock or Rock? ... Anyway...not the one built on the sand, but the other One.
Ummmm, which Church is that in history?
If you're going to claim that the Catholic Church isn't it - then which church was it?
Of course you can't.Reformed Protestantism, but I can't prove it. :)
You didn't get the hint...so here is the true and correct answer:Ummmm, which Church is that in history?
If you're going to claim that the Catholic Church isn't it - then which church was it?
You didn't get the hint...so here is the true and correct answer:
None.
Have you learned nothing? "History" is of the world, but the kingdom and the church, are not. Christ is in the world, but the church is not. That is why "there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" for your lot.
Yes, but it's in the scriptures:presumably this is an individual special inspiration/revelation from the indwelling Holy Spirit - twinc

Actually - the Bible never speaks about the Church as a "hidden remnant" - but a visible entity. The church which Jesus redeemed with His blood which began on Pentecost where 3,000 people were saved. These are scattered in local churches all over the world, even at your church.
There is a remnant chosen by grace from every nation of the world, born at different times in history, and these He will separate on the last day.
Read the parable of the Wheat and Tares.
I haven't heard from you lately. I thought you left the building!
Wrong. You didn't get the hint...so here is the true and correct answer:
None.

"There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."Wrong.
The Church is IN the world - it's just not OF the world.
We're all in the world but some of us are OF Christ..
Keep studying - you'll get there . . .
Wrong... He was speaking to and about "the lost sheep of the house of Israel."Actually - the Bible never speaks about the Church as a "hidden remnant" - but a visible entity.
Jesus likened it to a "city on a hill" that cannot be hidden (Matt. 5:14-16).
Actually - the Bible never speaks about the Church as a "hidden remnant" - but a visible entity.
Jesus likened it to a "city on a hill" that cannot be hidden (Matt. 5:14-16). This "remnant" explanation is simply a myth.
All of the "churches" spoken of in the NT were the SAME Church - just in different locations.
Today, we call them "parishes".
Yews you should take your own advice....Thank you for that completely irrelevant verse that has nothing to do with our conversation.
A little advice: Don't quote Scripture until you learn what it means.
Amen but we know them by there fruit, any man who does not glorify God is not from God, is it not your church your religion you glorify and promote....??The Church is IN the world - it's just not OF the world.
We're all in the world but some of us are OF Christ.
And this is a very ignorant view of Catholic teaching.Scripture tell us there are saved and unsaved people alike in any congregations of the world.
Tell me, in your church, can you tell who is a wheat or who is a tare? Or, is everyone there a wheat? In fact, all the wheat in different congregations of the world consists of one body called the Church of Jesus Christ, of which Jesus is the head, and since no one can see with their naked eye, the saved are said to be invisible. Read Romans 9:27; 11:5-7.
In your church however, all will become saved because there is a stop over called purgatory where they are prayed for before going to be with the Lord. What a beautiful concept. Now I can live a life of sin on earth, and when I die and go to purgatory, all I need is for someone to pray for me, and I will go to be with the Lord.
But there is a very big problem. Scripture declare, “It is appointed for man once to die and then judgment."
Wrong.Wrong... He was speaking to and about "the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
