I think it's the latter because it's not like they really brought her back from the dead. I feel really sorry for the mother though. :(

Over my 77 years I have lost a lot of people to natural death, friends and family, who I cared about. I have my memories and in some cases pictures to remind me of them... but nothing can bring them back as it was.

In God's plan there may be a reunion, but if so, that is in accord with His plan, not mine. Saul insisted on seeing the prophet Samuel, and went to a woman working against the law to do it. Ultimately how well did that set with Saul or with God?

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Phil 4:11

The righteous mourn their dead for a little while whereas the unrighteous mourn forever. Why? Because the unrighteous have no hope.

As Louis Creed from Pet Sematary found out,.. "sometimes, dead is better." (Sorry I couldn't help myself. XD) Now I have this song stuck in my head. :D

I have never seen that movie so your reference to it mean nothing to me. As to "sometimes dead is better", yes, that is the case. I have known more than one person where death was better for them than what they were experiencing. I am not a fire and brimstone believer so for even the unbelievers it could be better.

It's truly SAD when Christians lose loved ones to Hell fire when God gave us so many promises! But that's why Satan created churches that promote unbelief in God's promises! Lots of "preachers" will wish they had never been born.
