Thanks for explaining what I think are your current beliefs @Ronald David Bruno .
I believe that God may chastise those he loves. It is unfortunate when a child of God has gone astray. If a child of God has gone astray, our duty under God is to provide aid and comfort to those afflicted while being kind and friendly. I don't think being chastised by God is fun and is a matter that is private between The loving Father God and his son or daughter.
Hopefully we never consider injury of Christians by the devil, his angels, or their followers to be chastisement from God, as that would not be loving but rather hate I suspect.
I think addressing the matter is most likely injurious, unless provided by God to a servant of his thru the Father, Son and/or Holy Ghost. We can then be part of God's service and do works meet for repentance. Carefully not being a hypocrite our selves when we serve. All salvation and glory is provided by our loving God. Isn't it a wonderful thing that he provided such things for us to be part of? All glory and grace to God.
