Yesterday morning, I got up at 3am and prayed as normal including protection over my home and property. I had to leave early that morning but noticed a guy walking around slowly down my street. He was carrying a container with something in it but I didn't really take much notice. He went to the end of my street and started walking back towards my house. I gave him a quick acknowledgement and we past each other on the opposite side of the street. Then as I was going around the corner, I felt that I needed to turn around and I did. I looked back and saw the guy walk towrds the area of my property and then down my driveway. So I walked back home. In the process, the guy came out of my property and continued down to the end of my street but he saw me coming back at the same time. It kind of bothered me as I had this conversation with the lord about my prayers that morning saying "Lord did I not ask for a covering over my home and property? Why is this happening then? but I still wan't too concerned about it because I know that when I pray, God hears.
So I got back home and locked everything in the house up. (Yes I leave my back door and windows open because it has never been broken into).
Then I left again because I still believed that I need to trust God in the things he has blessed me with because I had already prayed that morning. Later on in the day, I had a chat with the neighbour thinking that he may need a heads up but it turns out that the guy in question was from the neighbourhood and he had a friend stay at his house who had a cat. This cat took off at some point after being barked at by the neighbours (man I was chatting with) little dogs.
So he was trying to coax the cat back with his container of cat food and he just happened to check my property to see if the cat had ran in there.
Well I felt so relieved after hearing that news because it answered some of my questions about the stranger but It also proved to me that God provides for us as we pray to him by faith Glory!
