Oh dear, yes, night time is the worst, are you able to get any sleep with it?
Not while it is happening.

My cardiologist asked me why I never went to my GP, about this AF...what can he do,I said....the doctors in the hospital told me to take an extra bisoporal ....I’m getting all these mixed messages.....good job we have faith,Sis....these doctors are so stressed, with all the amount of patients they have to deal with....

Anyway, we are in Gods hands.....I just thank him, that I’m not in AF every day...

God does not encourage us to do nothing when He has provided many herbal substances to heal us, and knowledge of nutritional needs. Big pharma is not on my playlist for chronic conditions.
Are you going to see your GP about this AF?

Ha no way! Especially since it is clearly indicating magnesium deficiency despite a super healthy diet. By the way not all mg supplements are equal

Did you know that some hospitals in the US give a magnesium injection to everyone admitted into ER with heart problems?

I will continue to try out magnesium, and since I took some this morning my AF has stopped, but I also have other things up my sleeve.

Dr Berg suggests magnesium glyconate, CoQ-10, potassium, Vitamin D3, and tocotrienols.

If you deal with high blood pressure, then celery seed, garlic, and L-Arginine. Also, Hawthorne is great for heart health.
You probably know this stuff already...

Oh yes hawthorn I forgot that one! I have been taking tocotrienols but not D3 as I use a vit D lamp but still, Lyme blocks Vit D receptors which is how it fools the immune system to ignore it. Thanks.

No AF's since this morning and magnesium.

Do they send you to the toilet if you don't get it just right? That's my problem. lol

But I find that if I take a lower dose of magnesium, low dose mineral complex, and higher potassium, high dose Vitamin D3, zinc, and some Redmond's salt in the palm of my hand ...that hits the spot.

I have been low in potassium, zinc, and sodium ...for some time. (Even when I did keto.)

I slept better last night after I took those, and also celery seed, Co-Q10, and L-Arginine ...and about 8 ozs of water.

Not me so far!

I have been very high sodium and potassium on my hair tests.

Must look at celery seed again. I wonder if it has oxalate?

@TLHKAJ @Ritajanice

I was right - AT's gone after magnesium. Just a slight flutter or two.

What causes it to be worse at night is, according to my understanding, due to the liver, if it does not have enough glycogen stored to get us through night fasting. A signal is sent to the adrenals to release some cortisol which will quickly enter the blood-stream and we get the stimulation to the whole body including the heart muscle.

The problem is the liver which will respond to treatment like dandelion root extract or infusion, or other natural liver healers. I know that Lyme Disease wrecked my liver.

Wow ...my issues came on after several major stress events in a row for a prolonged period of time. I've had adrenal fatigue. I knew my liver and adrenals were somehow connected. These also can affect other hormones to be out of whack (like estrogen, progesterone, testosterone).

Thank you for sharing this info. It helps a lot!

I definitely have enough magnesium. (Ugh!)

I found a product that helps but it has the wrong type of magnesium. I guess certain forms of magnesium are cheaper?? It makes me go to the bathroom. I do get heart flutters, skipped beats, palpitations, etc when I have too much magnesium.

It's more affordable at my local health food store. Maybe I can find something similar that has a different form on magnesium. I have plenty of most electrolytes ...if I take an electrolyte powder/drink, I actually get leg cramps ...and heart arrhythmias. Just need to find the balance. Maybe it's the l-arginine and potassium ...sodium ..that helps me the most.

Dr Berg
The Benefits of L-Arginine

Note: Too much L-Arginine can wake up the shingles virus. So that is something I have to watch for, being that I deal with shingles quite often. He recommends 3 grams, 2X a day. I get a positive effect even taking half that. There is L-Arginine in meats. I guess I still need a boost.

Don't fancy having shingles again. Last bout was in my eye :Ohz

It came back a month later, but by then I had found someone who got rid of theirs using a Rife device (frequency therapy), which I already owned, scanning to find the most useful freqs, meaning the ones their body responded to then running them.

I did it and it worked. Such a relief. I don't think I would dare mess about with risking it using L- argenine. Some people spend the rest of their lives with repeated shingles.

I believe he was saying if you consume too much, it's a risk to awaken shingles. But idk ...I hate having shingles, but I can deal with that better than my heart rate going up every time I walk around or try to sleep. It's been pretty bad for a few months.

This is probably related ...lowering cortisol.

Have you tried topical Mg? Like Mag sulphate? I used to dissolve some epsom salts in water and put it in a spray bottle.

I have dome epsom salt baths. I had one a few days ago. I does relax the body pretty well. I also have a topical called "Ancient Minerals." It helps somewhat when I wake up with leg and foot cramps.

Interestingly, things calm down a bit after I eat a carnivore meal in the mornings... usually some beef and eggs, butter. This morning, it was about 6ozs of chuck roast (with the fat), and 4 soft-scrambled eggs.

That calm and energy lasts usually an hour or so ...then fatigue sets in again after that the last 2 or 3 days. But I think something else has triggered this uptick in intensity ....increased cortisol levels due to things going on in my daily life.

When I was caring for my son who passed away, I began experiencing something I call "life drain." When I woke in the mornings, I would feel so drained of energy, even moving my arms was difficult ... would experience numbness in my hands and arms, felt very faint, like my life was draining from my body. That type of thing has somewhat returned the last few months, but not every morning, thankfully. It passes after a couple of hours. I usually have an ice pack over my heart area bc it just makes me feel alive. My chiropractor said it is the right thing to do bc it is related to the thoracic, the vagus nerve, and parasympathetic nervous system.

I believe there is adrenal fatigue in there, and sluggish liver.

After my son went Home, I would wake up, and before my eyes even opened, my heart rate would shoot up. I finally connected it to the fact that waking up with him not here was a dread. And too, when he was here, all of my energy went to caring for him and when he wasn't here anymore, all that energy and adrenaline had nowhere to go.

Anyway ....that may sound kinda jumbled up. Idk if any of that helps you or anyone reading.

Sorry to hear you lost your son @TLHKAJ

I lost my eldest son at age 31 and my only daughter aged 46. I feel your pain.

I sometimes get the adrenal surge on waking and increased heart rate but it has eased off since starting to eat grains again and cutting fruit.
