Hopefully my bones are ok because I have been taking the lowest dose and sometimes I skip three nights, sometimes I skip two nights.
(My thyroid is just slightly underactive.)

A bone density test would tell you how your skeletal system is doing.

Have you been diagnosed as having hypothyroidism?
Vitamins B-1 and B-12 can be deleted as a symptom.
Supplements like a multi-B vitamin can help. Or taking each of those B vitamins alone is also good.

Selenium, iron, vitamin's A and D, and Omega 3 fatty acids are vital for hypothyroidism.

Just for the record, I had open heart surgery 7 years ago coming up this September and yes it was a huge success, the mitral valve was able to repaired rather than replaced...

The serum calcium in the blood I believe has been one of the main triggers of AF, plus God has been showing me for months to stop drinking to much lattes, full of cream and sugar, I’ve only had this problem with AF for the past year, slowly it has got worse, then I was free from it for quite some months, thinking I had been healed of it......I’m sure it has all been down to the serum calcium in the blood, to many lattes plastered in cream and sugar, drinking no plain water.plus I know I was dehydrated as my urine was a dark orange in colour it’s now clear like water.......today will be my 7 th day of drinking 2 litres of plain water a day, plus I’ve been on the new medication since last Wednesday.....no bouts of AF so far...Praise God...long may it continue in Jesus Name, Amen!...

I’ve had a bone density test,I’ve also had neck scans , as they thought the serum calcium level was due to an over active parathyroid gland ,they could find nothing wrong on the scans.... I have osteoporosis in my spine I think she said, I don’t have to see her again for 3 years...

My serum calcium level slowly crept up.....since being on the new medication and drinking 2 litres of water a day, I feel like a different person..compared to when I was drinking up to 6 cups of latte a day, smothered in cream and sugar....what was I thinking, lol...I got addicted to them......a bit of a shock stopping them suddenly...I got terrible cravings when I first stopped drinking them, now...I don’t miss them at all, in fact I look forward to drinking water first thing in the morning...long may it continue....all sugar cut from my diet , except for three sweets a day, lol.

Look in the PDR,Physicians Desk Reference, and locate all medications you've been prescribed.

There are details to be found there that doctors may not share when they've handed you a prescription.

I knew a woman who was prescribed a medication that she took for 10 years. It was now driving her nerves out of control. Her doctor told her he couldn't take her off the stuff now because if he did she'd convulse to death.

We looked up this medication in the PDR. Sure enough there it was under the long term side effects header.

That was a little detail her doctor failed to mention before putting her on the stuff.

I always check the side affects on the information pamphlet that comes in the medication box.. “ now”...new medication so far no adverse affects....I’m under an endocrinologist nurse, as well as the doctor...I can phone Jamie at the hospital anytime I am concerned about anything....which I have done.....when I get my blood test next he or the doctor will let me know how the serum calcium level is doing......so far so good...Praise God....he’s most definitely in control, his will be done....in Jesus Name..Amen.

Thank you, so far so good, Brother, been on meds since last wed, been drinking 2 litres of water a day, so far no AF..

My open heart surgery was over 6 years ago coming up 7 years , yes it was a great success....

I’ve never been in terrible pain with AF, just extremely feeling uncomfortable..with a heart beating at over a 120 beats a minute...thank God The heart beats didn’t stay consistently at that rate, only a few times have I been blue lighted to hospital...... where the heart beats haven’t dropped...they put a cannula in my artery vein, then injected something to bring the heart rate down...

Anyway....today will be my 7 th day free of AF...long may it continue...in Jesus Name, Amen......I know 100% that God is in the situation that everything is going according to his purpose and plan for my life.....God is good all of the time!...

My trauma days are well in the distance......yet as you say, it takes a toll on our body and nervous system...that goes without saying....

I now look forward to the future in Christ....no dwelling on my past anymore....Praise God...

I have AFIB. It's pretty well controlled by a medication called Sotolol. They first tried Multaq, but that pretty quickly proved to be ineffective. I get maybe one or two episodes a year, but they usually go away with some light exercise like bike riding or the elliptical.

I’m very much a keep fit bunny, plus have my own machines.

I had persistent AF, was going into it every 2 days.....it seems strange that I have been a week free from it...after taking this new medication plus only drinking water, 2 litres a day......AF wears you out when you are constantly in and out of it....the heart can’t take it, especially when it’s fast AF, it can be life threatening...thankfully mine has been fast then slows itself down, plus it lasted for 12 hours each episode, when I come out of AF, I got a rush coming through my body straight to my head, which felt like it was going to explode..I explained this to the doctor.

I’m under 10 stone and not over weight thankfully, I’ve always been a gym bunny and fitness freak, I bought my own machines because the gym monthly fees have sky rocketed....

It's usually derived from calf bone matrix.

However it is a source of calcium and needs to be from a good source. I get mine from New Zealand and use it for tooth cleaning. No dentists needed.

It is getting calcium into the right places that is the problem.

One of the worst things for an overactive nervous system is caffeine so well done you for quitting coffee. The body and brain are changed from trauma so more than 'positive thinking' is needed including trust in God.

I was so surprised that it has all come out after all these years but I am working hard to get my body to recover.

Exercise is excellent for healing trauma. I use a rebounder in my flat.

Thanks for asking, it is a hard slog treating Lyme Disease without medical help, though they are saying that antibiotics will not heal it and it comes back. Doctors won't accept the chronic state so I get gaslighted as well.

The Lord is gracious and guides me to what I need to do to reduce toxins in my body and that includes avoiding a lot of supplements on the market today (and food) which are contaminated. Pure sources are needed. The alternative industry is just as corrupted as the establishment.

Your urine should be like lemonade in color. Be careful not to overdo on the water. That can be harmful and cause water intoxication. Probably talk to your doctor....I think it's too much water.

That is the recommendation from the NHS, Sis....seriously I feel full of energy, no lethargy whatsoever....I love drinking water now...because it keeps me free from lethargy, I was sleeping most of the day before I started my new meds and drinking 2 litres of water a day....time will tell won’t it?...still early days..only been a week free from AF..

Appreciate the support sis. At late stage, before it kills you, the body is sensitive to everything and the immune system goes haywire.. I have five autoimmune conditions and probably reacting to all the foods now in my very restrictive diet. Nothing artificial is safe including pharmas. It affects everything in the body. I spend nearly all of my time fighting it with various means, when I am up out of bed.

Deepest sympathies. I have also been bedridden with a carer coming in but thankfully avoided hospital which is a place of danger for me as they will not accept that anyone can be so sensitive to everything and would probably section me to force drugs. Also CFS on my notes which means most docs think you are a nut job.

But absolutely, it makes us stronger, all glory to God!
