I do hope you know that for the safety of women, THAT is the worst of all possible solutions. Rape really has little to do with sex, but is predominately based in power and dominance.I think I would like to see him castrated instead
Yes I do understand rape has more to do with power than sex. Why would this solution (not that I was SERIOUS BTW!!, lol) threaten the safety of women??
If one were castrated for rape, especially a very young child, they wouldn't be doing anymore raping, and how many others would it make think long and hard before they ever did that. Just sayin. :)

If a man is restrained (cut off) from intercourse to enforce dominance, what recourse is left to him? Violent physical assault, or even murder.

Well I try to see the Thread that flow's through Scripture, form Exodus to the Revelation's.
Moses came down form the Mountain, cast the Two Tablet's of stone down and Shattered them, But the Blood Covenant had already been broken. Remember! After the 10 Commandments were given, then Moses sprinkled blood on the people, So it was a blood Covenant!
Now the OT Prophecy of the New Covenant, is that we are to bring the Tablets of our Heart, and God will wright His Commandment's on IT, Our Heart. The Thread in Scripture is that God Instructed Moses to bring Tablets of His own { making } and God will Again Write them in the Tablets Moses made! What Commandment's do You Keep? What is Sin? for there are many that will tell you that Sin is the Transgression of the Law! Tell Me what Commandments you keep and I will tell you what God you Serve!

I know you are just trying to be cute, but in effect, you would be doing no more than setting free a rapist who has had nothing in the way of someone trying to work against Satan attacking him. In truth, you are ultimately responsible for the next crime he commits because you refuse to accept God's law and do as it says... yet, you also refuse to do anything to help turn this guy around. Don't get me wrong. After a quarter of a century working with Sex Offenders, and being attacked just as much as they are by the self-righteous public, I fully understand your desire to perpetuate their punishment. It is the feeling probably more than 90% of America harbors. But, it is almost entirely based upon "emotion", and is not really thought-out very deeply.
Yes, I agree. You are correct, it is def. based on emotion and, I do understand this is not God's way. I'm sure you've seen your share of the worst. I'd say you were a good cop Willie!
It can be so hard to remove yourself from certain situations in an all forgiving manner. I do strive for this, especially in this area. I know one day God will bring me closer to HIS way of seeing things. He has forgiven me much... ♥
