Anyone getting the new Covid booster?

I can't keep up with this thread....three pages I couldn't read through.

The latest: Called my doctor to make a checkup appointment for next month.

Mentioned to her daughter, the receptionist, that I thought we would skip this latest booster since I'm not in contact with many people. And mom has an irregular heartbeat.

She said her mom and dad (both doctors) don't get the shots. She said her mom had a bad reaction from the shot. They don't know what it will do in the future.

There was a man in a flood, he made it up to the roof of his house. A boat came by and asked if he needed any help. He replied "No God will save me". So the boat moved on. Two more boats came by and both times the man rejected their help. He drown and died and when he got to heaven he asked God "Why didn't you save me"? God replied: "I sent 3 boats".

I love that story and was thinking about it recently. I know of a person who is always expecting God and others to do something for him....but one also needs to make an effort.

I got the origional 2 shots. Have not had any since. I have had covid 2 or 3 times, with hardly any symptoms. I have also had the flue 3 times, and it took me out hard.. (I got the flue shot last year. but am not getting it this year)

Me, too. I had the 1st two.

Learned later that they don't actually stop you from getting the virus or transmitting it to others, it just nerfs your symptoms. Well, my whole reason for getting it was so that I wouldn't get others sick, and it doesn't do that, so... why get it?

Not only have many taken the vax in ignorance, but many have been given the vax without their knowledge or consent. I know a labor and delivery nurse who was given orders to vax a woman who was still coming out if anesthesia after a C-section. This nurse refused, praise God! But how many are being given the vax without consent as they no doubt are doing on a regular basis in that hospital. My friend refused, but did/have the rest of the labor and delivery nurses done the same? Probably not.

The Hebrews used herbs, hyssop and such for ailment / sickness.

Vaccines are a very far cry from herbs which God made. I do take herbals, vitamins, minerals, etc which God made. And there are some who say they believe in God, who will not take herbs or a natural vitamin/minerals supplement ...but they'll take anything and everything a doctor throws at them and continue to het worse with all the compounding side effects. No thank you!!

I am suspect of the reports and studies promoted by those who get very large grants from Corporations and governments as a means to their ends.

It's not that I don't trust the science, I don't trust the ones using science and manipulating data to reach their objective.
Which in almost all cases is $$$$$$$$$ .

Do you own stock in the companies making invermectin or hydrocriquine? That's a whole lot more believable than what you have alleged. You know NOTHING of research...the checks and double checks that end up being quadruple checks...the safety protocols across a broad range of situations.
The whistle-blower $$$ available to low paid workers. (Especially if true) The literal thousands of 3rd party people who all would have to forego the whistleblower money to take a smaller, career ending pathetic bribe. Nevermind that forensic investigations would instantly out everyone involved...and the raw data is available for public scrutuny. (Which is regularly scrutinized by others independently repeatedly by many)

There are other people who feel just like you and it is the right of any to choose.

Most of our medicines come from some type of plant and a herb is a plant weather for medicinal or cooking purposes. There are some medicines made from chemicals, chemicals which come from the Earth just as human flesh did when God formed it. And there are some medicines that is a combination of chemicals and herbs. Example: Take enough vitamin c daily for years and one may require kidney stones, uric acid, nausea, vomiting and others. Minerals / multivitamins can cause stomach bleeding, changing heart rate, swelling, others. And that applies to just about everything man uses including foods. Did you know nothing man gets toxic and if digested enough can kill you the same with potassium. Can I say these things just to say whatever we do can affect us even if we think it's it safe or safer. God bless.

Yes, they get many of their meds from plants, but they manipulate them in unnatural ways till they are something God never intended and most of them cause a multitude of side effects. No thank you. I'd rather stay as close to what God created as possible.

Absolutely correct. Potentially harmful for a large portion of the population who already have compromised immune systems, would be more accurate than “poison”.

I am aware of some known natural and concocted poisons and have no desire to knowingly put God to the test.
As well I have not experienced / (thus no recovery) from things like food poisoning, but am aware of others who have.
