Yes - covid like the flu is here to stay. Since certain age group is more vulnerable - I use precaution and get the vaccine, which will aid me and overcoming it if I would happen to catch it.

And that is not taking away from the power of God - decades ago there was a scripture which apparently has been taken out it, saying healing is in the herbs. And in today's Bibles it still tells us that the leaves of the Tree of Life is for healing in the Book of Revelation. God is not against medicines.

The Hebrews used herbs, hyssop and such for ailment / sickness.

I absolutely agree with Natural remedies that come from the plants that God has provided.

I'm not in agreement with chemical manmade experimental drugs however.

God gave medicine, even in the OT.

Prosperity gospel is not from gods. God does not promise to heal everyone by miracle.

To the OP, please do not listen to the naysayers. To be honest, this is the worst place to come to for advice on health issues.

Talk with your doctor, and talk to several doctors if needed. Pray to God about it as I did. I have moderate to severe asthma. There are immunocompromised family members in my life. When I prayed to God, I was given peace about getting the vaccine. God gave me the go-ahead to get vaccinated. I haven't gotten boosters, but that's because of me and not the boosters.

So, get advice from several doctors and pray about it. Just don't get your advice here on health matters.

And yes, I just gave my advice, but my advice is not to listen to people here and go elsewhere.

Many people are live today and have improved lifestyles because of medicines from science and doctors, including myself.

God instituted alcohol for people near death and the super poor people that were suffering back then in Proverbs 31:6-7. It was probably the first non natural substance used for pain medication and too alleviate unhealthy stress. There are more examples of medicines used in the bible. And Paul recommended a little wine in the New Testament. Hmmm.

All medicine is a type of poison, including things we normally consume. But we consume them in lesser amounts to have a desirable outcome. Heck even water is dangerous in large amounts. And a lot pf medicines come from the natural resources of the rain forest. Amazonian ethnobotany and the search for new drugs - PubMed

I'm sure once we all have a terrible case of cancer or some other excruciating illness the first thing we will do is turn to God, and when his answer is no, then the doctors. Hopefully we don't turn to wicca ideas of herbal remedies. Hopefully we turn to the time tested and studied medicine of professionals.

I personally think that God perhaps doesn't always heal people of things that doctors can fix. Why should he?

My doctor told me 8 years ago that fish was my friend.
He didnt prescibe any medications, just said to eat more fish, get more exercise, and stop smoking.
I don't like fish but I eat it a lot, exercise is almost impossible, and I'm still smoking.

I smoke menthol cigarettes. And they tried to ban flavored tobacco including menthol.

When I smoke menthol I think of Viks vapor rub that helps open clogged airways.
At the time many people were having respiratory problems. I kept smoking and I kept breathing.
I wondered why they was attacking only menthol and not all cigarettes.. and then it dawned on me...
Viks vapor rub.
They couldn't pass it because studies showed that most black people prefer menthol over regular cigarettes.
And at the time we were going through the black lives matter protests. So I figure they didnt want them getting upset and turning their burning looting and murder on them.

God created herbs for healing. And salt and and a lot of other things that grow naturally from the earth He created for our good.
He also created my DNA and I'm not convinced that man in his wisdom can improve what God himself has made.
